A developing project to link green spaces in East Brighton.
There are a few spaces left on a Free Forest Bathing session this Saturday 19th October at Bevendean Community Garden & Woods.

Hi all, Please be very careful in the Great Wood, Stanmer. There has been a sudden increase of unstable diseased Ash trees sadly and some rather large branches have come down. The council are aware and emergency work will need to be done to ensure that the woods are made safe.
Very happy to report that approx 400 local peeps went to Farm Green Park on Sunday to see the free Dragon Wagon shows !
Please pop along to the 67 Centre this weekend ! All free and all fun and all ages welcome !
Hiya everyone! Does seem like spring has sprung hooray 🌼 it's our regular gardening session today at Bevendean Community Garden 11-2pm with Summer and I will be supporting with some family friendly activities- planting seeds, egg dyeing on the fire, making clay bunnies to hide in the woods.. and hammocks to play in with Fernee forest club Come and say hello! Come and join in getting the food production on the go! Come and hang out and drink tea and enjoy the birds singing and the signs of spring!

Dear Councillor Alexander
Thank you for your enquiry. Our inhouse construction team have advised that installation will start to take place, once weather and ground conditions are right At present it is to unpredictable, given the nature of works required and weight of items and material to be used.
As weather is starting to settle down we should be able to commence installation next month.

Did you join in with the recent Murmuration of Moulsecoomb & Bevendean project? Come and decorate the bird boxes provided by Brighton Permaculture Trust in their orchards in Stanmer this Sat.
The bird boxes will be put up in Brighton over the year for next years nesting population. WE will use the paper birds made during the Our Place festival project to decorate the boxes.
This event will take place at Brighton Permaculture Trust’s Stanmer Orchards. Meet at The Fruit Factory, Stanmer Village at 10.30am
this Saturday 25th June 10.30am (workshop will run until 12.30pm)
Breeze Bus 78 runs to Stanmer Village or the 25 to Stanmer gates and a fifteen minute walk (we have a limited number of FREE bus tickets if you need them- text Jools on 07969085930)
Please bring a paintbrush if you have one. If not, just yourself!

A trio of planets grouped together with the crescent moon -- what a sight!
Look for them before sunrise, either with your bare eyes or with binoculars.
18 plots that make up Stanmer Organics will be open to the public for the day. Visit craftspeople , growers , well being sites. They’ll be live music, food etc. Always a good local-ish day out !
Nice to see all the flowers coming up again in Farm Green Park , from the bulbs a group of us planted a few years ago. Hopefully those hours spent planting will see the flowers emerging every spring for years and years to come.
