I can't stress enough about the importance of enjoying your workout. If you are forcing yourself to the gym and looking at workouts like a chore, better play a sport that you like or any other activity that you enjoy doing. But if the gym is a happy place for you, your workouts are going to be so much fun and effective.

But I have often wondered how. Well our thoughts subconsciously drive our emotions. The emotional overwhelming or build up we may sometimes experience is mostly due to our thoughts. These emotions eventually lead to actions that drive things to happen!
Learn to observe and control your thoughts. It will change your life!

Its common to compare yourself to others and feel the need for improvement. But such comparisons are futile because every one of us is different and unique in our own ways. If you want to track your progress, track it with your past self alone. That’s a real measure of how far you have come!

Whether it's a wedding buffet, or a lunch with office colleagues or just a family get-together, we always have a lot of choices when it comes to food. And most often it's at such social dos that we end up over eating or eating things which we regret later.
Here's what you can do, when you find yourself in such situations -
1️⃣ If it's something you DO NOT want, be strong to say a polite No. Don't give in to peer or family pressure just to please others. What goes on your plate HAS to be your choice alone.
2️⃣ If it's something you WANT, go ahead and have it. But control your serving size. Portion control is king in such situations. For eg. Indulge but stop at 1 gulab jamun instead of 3-4.
👉🏻 Remember it's not about sacrificing, it's about smartly managing your food choices.

Gym is my happy place.
Even if I am extremely tired, stressed or a bit low, i make it a point to go to the gym. Just 10 mins into my workout and I feel so much better.
There's a direct correlation between exercise and your mood. Will make a video on this separately.
So, whenever you too feel a little low, just head to the gym. Not necessary you have to lift - Just do any light activity like treadmill, cycling or skipping for just 10-15 mins and feel how your mood changes in a jiffy.

We strive so much to look beautiful - working on our fitness, our dressing, indulge in expensive salon treatments, cosmetics all in the effort to look beautiful. But is the definition of beauty limited to a superficial level?
What about having a beautiful mind that can think creative ideas and a beautiful heart that can see the good in others?
Sometimes we are too quick to pass a judgement or talk negatively about someone without even knowing the full picture.
And most of the times, its uncalled for. It happens because we let our preconceived notions win over.
I believe all of us are beautiful from within. We just need to let our inner beauty flow without diluting it with the noise of our set opinions and judgements.
Your diet is not just what you eat.
Its what you watch, what you listen to, what you read, and the people you hang around with.
Be mindful of the things you put in your body physically, emotionally, spiritually.
