Okay to give myself some credit, I'm actually not too bad at the drinking part.
The drinking part isn't the issue it's the aftermath I can't handle!
I think anyone who isn't in their twenties can relate to this.
I get terrible hangovers and can easily carry these through my entire week.

Iโve just been away this weekend for another music festival!
Whilst it's not relaxing in the traditional sense, it's a break from the routine which is always necessary throughout the year.
You can usually tell when you need a break by the following signs: reduced motivation, less creativity and a general fatigue.

Here's the problem with training and diet goals...
They're usually based around how we want to look,
e.g. lose weight, fit into a pair of jeans, get in shape for a wedding or holiday.
There's nothing wrong with this.
But I usually advise people I work with to also have a goal that includes how they want to feel...

I just checked-in with a client this morning who has a fat loss goal but is struggling with snacking.
Between meals they are finding themselves constantly picking and grazing.
(And youโd be surprised how quickly the odd biscuit, handful of crisps etc. add up)

I was finally able to focus by doing these 5 things
For almost a year now, I've been employed by Network Rail as they set-up their own in-house Occupational Health service.
It's more-or-less the same role I was doing for them before, when they outsourced this service to Optima Health, and therefore I am pretty proficient at it now.

The Magic of Delayed Gratification
I was talking with a guy I've become friendly with at Bannatyne's gym the other day after a spin class.
He regularly does this class and often gets on his bike outside too.
We discussed how this type of fitness is unique, and that it takes time to develop, even if you feel 'fit' in other aspects.
He said something which has stayed with me:
