Club sailing Refreshers Give it a Go
Come and try out the casual side of sailing. We will go for a fun sail around cardiff bay on Wednesday afternoon!

Tickets: £6 , available on the SU website.

When: 8th February, 1pm.

Where: Meet at the bench opposite The Bagel Place at the back of the SU. And we will get the train down to Cardiff Bay Yacht club together.

What to bring: If you have sailing kit (e.g wetsuits, waterproofs) bring it along. If not don’t worry you can borrow everything (just bring swimming costumes/stuff to wear under a wetsuit) and bring trainers/shoes you can get wet. And lots of warm clothes for after!

FRIDAY:

18:00-20:00 - Registration and social ticket collection

(for away teams thinking you’ll be arriving much later than 20:00, please let me know asap on 07891232499 so that I can give your tickets to your hosts)

18:00-20:00 - Away teams to arrive at their hosts house 🏡

21:00 onwards - social at Heidi’s (Mill Lane)

06:00 - CARDIFF sailors and helpers to be at SU

08:30 - all other teams to be at Cardiff Bay Yacht Club (Ely Harbour, Ferry Road, Cardiff, CF11 0JL)

09:00 - briefing and registrations (and deposits if we haven’t had them already

10:00 - racing starts

15:00 (ish) - racing ends

19:00 - food and pres at Gassy’s

22:00 - JUICE🫶🏻

SUNDAY

07:00 - Cardiff sailors and help set to be at SU

08:30 - all other teams to be at Cardiff Bay Yacht Club

09:30 - racing starts

14:30 - racing ends

3 Nights of Socials with 2 Days of Sailing from 22 Teams all across the UK. It is without a doubt the most exhausting and exhilarating weekend of the Year.

Many people just come for the Socials and so don't worry if you're not sailing, you can still join in on the fun. The plan is as follows:

Friday Night- Heidi's
Saturday Night - Buffet at Gassy's and Ticket to JUICE
Sunday Night - Live Lounge

It really is the best event of the year and so would love to see as many of you there as possible.

Hey everyone! Hope you’re all having a great summer and we look forward to seeing pre-existing members and the new faces at the first social of the year!

The SU have already started selling tickets for WEDNESDAY 28th SEPTEMBER. This will be a YOLO FULL BUILDING TAKEOVER and tickets are already selling fast so don’t want anyone missing out!!!!
