Ok people… I’ve been kind quiet lately.
This summer has been the busiest I’ve ever had. And I truly appreciate all of you who have used my services and been patient with me as I work out trying to get everyone taken care of.

Sometimes when I leave your project, I’ll hit 2 other jobs before I can even think about heading home.

I’ve had 2 days “off” both of which I went to look at a job or grab materials for the next one.

I am worn out and still have a couple in the works...

All of this is to say a HUGE THANK YOU! Thank you for such a successful summer!

Just buttoned this countertop and backsplash job up this evening. As per usual, I’m terrible at befores, but here are some afters…

I am blown away with all of the opportunities I’ve had this summer and can’t wait to get with you or your friends to get your project going!!

I didn’t get pictures of the place it came from but,today I wrapped up one of the most tiring jobs I’ve had in a while.
I remember taking out a crape myrtle as a kid and not liking it very much. The root was just a solid mass and very woody. And every time I thought, “this has to be the last one keeping it attached” there would be an even thicker, more difficult root to cut.
My hands were blistered and the summer heat was miserable. Not as humid as today but just too darn hot!
Now that I’m older and… wiser… I guess… but mostly older. I got the ”opportunity” to remove some for a new client. I thought that surely with all my tools and skills it won’t be as bad. And, admittedly, I did remember the root issue and had a much better plan of attack. But I know for sure that crape myrtles have thoroughly worn me out on every occasion I’ve had to remove or relocate them.
This particular plant went to live at my parents house and will hopefully never have to be moved in my lifetime… hahaha.
The scraggly bush on the right was mostly dead and with any luck it will fill back in.
