Ladies, come reWild with us this year as we intentionally root ourselves deeper with nature as a teacher and friend. In the coming months, we will travel a road of growth together through all the changes of the seasons in the natural world and within ourselves.

Monthly gatherings are Saturday Mornings at Sunrise, year round. We begin on September 14. Join us!

Our Outdoor Educators come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, and that's what brings so much life to our vibrant community. We've got entomologists, native plant botanists, ornithologists, arborists, artists, musicians, yoga instructors, and naturalists on staff as well as former science or elementary school teachers. All of our teachers have a passion for the outdoors and mentoring children in the art of nature connection.

It’s a summer camp made for adventurers!
This group will have a chance to cook the fish they caught, along with wild edibles over the fire. Other survival skills will be taught as well. Check it out in our bio!

Spring Break Wilderness Camp- Registration is now open!

New life is everywhere to be found at Spring Break Wilderness Camp! We’ll explore vernal ponds for frog and salamander eggs, turtles, and fairy shrimp! Days will be spent building fires, balancing on the low ropes course, making art from natural materials, and fort-building.

Outdoor Courses | Grand Rapids, MI | Discovery Wilderness School Discovery Wilderness School offers outoor courses for virtual school and home school students in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Enrollment for new families opens Feb 6! We are so excited for this coming school year.

This year we are launching a nature preschool for 3-4years olds! We will also still continue to offer a 0-4 year old child/parent class. And then we have classes for 5-18 year olds.

We will have indoor classroom spaces for every class next year.
During severe/cold/wet weather we’ll have the option to continue our nature study indoors.
Four-hour classes, weekly, year round (minus holiday break) because we’ll be able to go indoors when necessary.

We don’t want tuition to feel out of reach for any family. Don’t forget about opportunities for tuition support including home school partnerships, income-based tuition reduction, payment plans, and sibling discounts. Reach out to create a custom plan that will work with your family’s budget.
