If you missed the Elwood C.A.R.E.S. Trivia Night, you really missed out on a great night of fun right here in Elwood! Lucky Strike was full of teams competing for the title of Champions! Congratulations to The Bad Einstein's for taking the championship belt from the reigning champions, The Judge & His Jury! The Bow Wow Meow Team were great sports when they received the "Poor Baby Award" for coming in last place. Competition was fierce, but it was all in good fun and for a great cause, the Elwood Athletic Department! Special thanks to Chuck Kane and his crew at Lucky Strike for everything they did to make the night run smoothly, Tom Clark for being our fun Emcee for the evening, Alex Kane for running sound and slides, Jerry & Cat Morton for our tech support, Ascension St Vincent and Elwood Intermediate School for the use of the dry erase boards, all of our table monitors, score-keepers, everyone who helped set up/tear down, and most of all to everyone who entered a team and played that evening and to Holly Abbott, The Bad Einsteins and the Bow Wow Meow Teams for donating their winnings back to the C.A.R.E.S. group!
