A lovely antique button pendant. This Mother of Pearl button with a brass escutcheon of a woman wearing a laurel wreath, sits upon a vintage Aurore borealis brooch. The Matte gold chain is a beautiful match for the brooch.
Sacred Heart Cathedral in Paris, a panel from an antique souvenir bracelet, on blue and silver pearlized bead chain.
Awesome collection of rings, 9 of which are marked sterling or 925, all find a home here in this head turning statement necklace.

Vintage moonglow glass button earrings. These buttons were quite a find.
Two tintype gals from long ago, in their comfort zone with other like minded lovely bits.
How awesome is this serpent wrapped heart lapel pin? Now a necklace. Unsure of its age, but the detail on the connector chain and on the pin protector clasp would indicate quite old. www.oldnouveau.etsy.com
Finished products. Every time I make a new one, I try to fix the mistakes from my earlier journals. But I always find a way to make a different mistake on the newer ones. There’s a big learning curve here for me.
Taking a break from jewelry making. About to begin a Coptic stitch assembly for this pretty little journal made with Italian papers.
Gorgeous antique cobalt blue glass buttons, clustered on a necklace of cut glass beads. These buttons have embedded wire shanks, which makes the dating a little easier, pre-World War I.
A rare Stanhope Cross, with intact center viewer. The microscopic image imbedded, seen when held to the light, commemorates "The Apparition at Knock County Mayo" in Ireland. More pictures at www.oldnouveau.etsy.com

The Young Mother, a very old meerschaum carved devotional. These were typically religious in nature, this most likely created in the I800’s. Most had a convex glass covering but I particularly like this image of Mary without the glass. Being able to feel the curve of the features adds another layer of interest to this piece.
Glittering vintage pink rhinestone brooch necklace with aurora borealis highlights on a beautiful strand of pale pink cut glass beads. # pinkbling
Antique perfume button necklace, pink being an unusual color for a perfume button. For the Civil War connection to perfume buttons, you can visit my Etsy shop at www. Oldnouveau .Etsy.com.
I feel fairly certain this woman is in mourning, from the black hairpiece she was wearing. But, oh, my heart, it looks like she has had a hard life. -
Roman bling, in a pair of assemblage earrings composed of some old coin links from a souvenir bracelet from Italy, and some rhinestone drops from a pair of vintage clip on earrings.
