Studying at Maidstone College of Art, Kent, Edinburgh College of Art and at University of Ulster, Coleraine he followed an early passion for the arts. Working currently as a freelance artist he has produced various pieces in film, canvas and music hoping to release further literature and art in the next passing years. His work has normally been described as abstract surrealism due to the mix betwe
en Dali, Picasso. As well as, the abstract and surreal subjects that are illustrated throughout his work. Performing also as the musician, 'Paul Jam' he continues to work with exhibits and commissions. Recently commissioned at Cafe Wah, Terry Hooley's new pinocle establishment for Good Vibrations and Bigg Life Arts in Belfast City Centre. The commissioned piece stands proud with the outside seating with it's innovative design and colour to support the charity work done at Cafe Wah. Also run by Biggy Bigmore, it is visited and supported by local legends, Stiff Little Fingers. As well as previously working in portraiture and musical acts such as TRIBE, Clifford has been involved with BSideProductions, Awakening Project, The Underground Music Scene, Pretty Circus and Viral Vactory (Scream TV). Paul Clifford's art carries on gaining more respect and demand.
