The Continental story is a familiar narrative that truly defines the American dream— hope, courage, and hard work are our cornerstones for running a successful family business. Originating three generations ago on the streets of depression era New York, two immigrant brothers, savvy and street smart, began a small pushcart business— manufacturing and selling household accessories, custom jewelry,
and holiday novelties to a customer base that was accessible and eager for bargains. After the war, their vision expanded— venturing abroad, and cultivating partners that helped expand their product line and bolster their bottom line. The business flourished, as did the family, and by the 1990’s a third generation of entrepreneurs was fulfilling their own American Dream. Today, after more than 70 years in business, Continental Accessory Corp. continues to help retailers attract and sustain a lucrative customer base— primarily within the student, and young-professional, demographics— with our multi-purpose, coordinated lines of everyday, fashion-forward accessories.
