As a consumer and business owner, I strive to use the cleanest ingredients. I also want to ensure products remain shelf-stable for as long as they can. So I’ve reformulated three of our products: the serums and toner.

Meet our second handcrafted holiday gift box maker: Cinde of Modern Day Valkyrie!

As a young child, Cinde had a vivid imagination. She grew up playing in the woods, hoping to spot a fairy troll or wizard. And for many birthdays she wished to become a green witch and live in a tiny cottage in the old Nordic woods.

While growing older, Cinde found herself forgetting this dream. Her career as a Geographic Information Systems professional was fulfilling and often challenging, but it left her little time to explore her creative essence and pursue her devotion to nature. In 2018, while out on a hike in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota, Cinde remembered her childhood wish. Right then and there she decided to leave her career and become that green witch after all.

Today Cinde works in partnership with The More Than Human World by creating wildcrafted, Nordic-inspired skincare products that are vegan, organic and cruelty-free. Mindful of her impact on this Earth, she plants one tree for every purchase through One Tree Planted.

When not making skincare and aromatherapy products, you’ll probably find Cinde creating art or in the woods forest bathing. As a certified nature and forest therapy guide, Cinde finds one of the most rewarding things in life is helping others wind down, destress and feel better with nature as the therapist.
