1983 Reunion Update Information - We're looking forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming reunion. Please note that the reunion will end at 11:00 p.m. rather than 12:00 midnight. Please make this change in your schedule. Remember . . . because of a generous donation, this reunion is offered FREE to all 1983 classmates and their PLUS ONE. We hope everyone will plan to attend!!!

The 2023 scholarship recipients were honored at an awards banquet prior to the awards ceremony on May 9. During the event, alumni board members and donors had an opportunity to learn more about the students receiving this year's scholarships. In addition, students and their families learned more about the alumni association and its funding. Chef Scott Michaw and Clover High culinary students prepared a delicious meal for the event.

2023 Named Scholarship Recipients -
Our first Named Scholarship was given in honor of Mrs. Evelyn Gettys Edmunds for her work in the areas of agriculture and animal husbandry. This scholarship was established by her family with preference being given to students who have participated in areas of agriculture and animal husbandry both inside and out of school. This year's recipient was Riley Cotton.

Our second Named Scholarship was given in memory of Mrs. Diane Hilderbrand for her love of sports and her dedication to the service of others. This scholarship was established by her family with preference being given to female students who have participated in sports and who have a heart for service. This year's recipient was Mallory Dover.

2023 Alumni Merit Scholarship Recipients -
Merit Scholarships are given based on a student's academic achievement, service, and leadership both inside and outside of Clover High School. This year, the Clover Schools Alumni Association was proud to award Merit Scholarships to the following students:

Our "Dining for Dollars" event on March 22 at the First United Methodist Church raised $1,157 for our alumni scholarship fund! Many thanks to the volunteers who made this event possible!!

CHS Class of 1982 Reunion
On Friday, February 3, class members sat together at the Clover Blue Eagle girls' and boys' games. They later met at South Main Bar and Grill for drinks and laughter.
Midday, on Saturday, February 4, Principal Rod Ruth provided an extraordinary tour of the Clover High School campus for the group. Besides walking down memory lane, class members shared their excitement over the resources and opportunities afforded current CHS students.
On Saturday evening, classmates and their spouses and friends came together at the Larne building to enjoy BBQ, dancing, and stories from 40 years ago! The class had an amazing time and looks forward to celebrating again!

CHS Class of 1982 Reunion

The Clover High School class of 1982 will hold its 40th reunion the weekend of February 3rd & 4th, 2023.

On Friday, February 3rd, class members are invited to sit together as we watch the Clover Blue Eagle Basketball teams play on their home court against Blythewood. Girls game - 6:30 p.m., Boys game - 8:00 p.m.

On Saturday morning, February 4th, a tour of the high school will be provided at 11:00 a.m. Meet at the main office to begin the tour. We will have the opportunity to tour the following areas: Air Force ROTC, Athletic Facilities, Building Construction, Child Development, Fine Arts, Media Center, and Nursing Program.

On Saturday evening, February 4th, a celebratory event will take place at the Larne Building at 103 N. Main Street in Clover. Come enjoy dinner, drinks, and dancing from 6:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

The cost is $30.00 per person.

Congratulations to our alumni raffle winners . . .Benjamin Glaser and Travis Jackson. They each won two reserved seats and a parking pass for the 2022 football season! Thanks to all who participated in the raffle. The association raised $2,215.00 in scholarship funds!

Although COVID-19 delayed their reunion, the class of 1970 was finally able to meet together in May at the Larne Building in Clover. The class enjoyed their time together and collectively donated $1,000.00 to the Clover Schools Alumni Association Scholarship Fund! Wow! Thank you for your support!

A new Clover Schools Alumni Named Scholarship has been established in memory of Diane Harris Hilderbrand '70 by her husband, Van Hilderbrand, and their children. This new scholarship will be awarded to a senior showing promise in the areas of academics, service, and leadership. Because Diane was a cheerleader and a basketball player, preference will be given to young women who participate in sports (basketball, cheering, etc.). Applications will be posted on the alumni website in October. The Clover Schools Alumni Association would like to thank the HIlderbrand family for their support of the alumni association and the upcoming seniors of Clover High School. We are proud to present this scholarship in memory of Diane Harris Hilderbrand.

Merit Scholarships are given based on achievement, service and leadership. The Clover Schools Alumni Association was proud to award $2,000.00 each to Savannah Mellon, Caroline Richards, and Mikayla Metzler. Congratulations, ladies!

-2022 Named Scholarship Recipient-
This year marked the first named alumni scholarship honoring 1946 Clover High graduate, Mrs. Evelyn Gettys Edmunds, for her work in the areas of agriculture and animal husbandry. The $2,000.00 scholarship was established by her family with preference being given to students who had participated in the areas of agriculture and animal husbandry both inside and outside of school. This year's recipient of the Evelyn Gettys Edmunds award was Kayleigh Moses. Congratulations, Kayleigh!
