Real talk.
I know I’ve been a bit quiet lately, I’ve been feeling a little unmotivated, with the combination of just so many summer plans happening, and my brain on a loop of high speed, swirling thoughts. I really have to give a shout out to my husband for trusting me to take a chance on leaving my other jobs and focusing on my business. I felt really great about some big things coming up, then one person just ghosted me and things have kinda slowly gone downhill with the other. I’ve been questioning if I’ve made the right decision, because I’ve lost a lot of money this year. Six years into business and I’m more broke now than ever 😆🙃, but this is all part of owning your own business; there are HARD times.
Throughout the last couple months though, my husband has CONTINUED to have my back, continues to support me and encourage me to keep going, and to not give up and go back to a mind-numbing service industry job. Last week he really outdid himself; knowing I was pretty gut-wrenched about a situation (I even threw out some talk of just giving up on BrittWood 😔) he contacted several people who own businesses and set me up with two more spots, and meetings to talk with two more on top of that! So I’m back in it, and hopeful, but it’s pretty much all due to him. 💕
I know this stuff gets tough sometimes, but try to remember how far you’ve come from the beginning. I know I’d be kicking myself if I gave up because of things that happen out of my control. Also, get yourself a husband who has a big heart, who makes you laugh, who works hard and dreams big and supports your dreams, loves you and lifts you up everyday.
You can’t have mine though 😘❤️.
