As our time here on the SGA page comes to an end we want to thank all the students for showing support and asking questions. If we fill the spots as the new president and Vice President we have hopes to make huge changes on this campus for all the students and we hope to have your support to make that happen. We want to remind you that our debate is tomorrow from 6-7 in Reed 117. We hope to see you there! Don’t forget to vote on the 7th-8th! One last reminder to head over to our page to keep updated on our goals and more :) thank you!
Leadership, personal development, and goals are a big part of everyone’s life but when filling the position of SGA President I think it is even more important to be able to understand and present these skills both in and out of the position.

Come down to Reed and pick up some goodies in support of sexual assault awareness month!
Hey there! The main improvements we want to make on campus are social connection and community connections. In order for students social and community fulfillment to be built their 4 basic needs must be met. Acceptance, belonging, control and a meaningful experience. Here on campus we plan to make these needs met through multiple projects. We plan to get students on campus more active with one another through activities and more which will lead to a sense of belonging and meaningful experiences. We want to improve mental health through making sure pronouns are being used correctly, and the wellness center approaches everyone with care. This will fulfill the acceptance and belong too. To bring a sense of control we want to make students aware of the social and community support that is available. Such as the ability to change your advisor, the psychiatrist on campus, and the partnerships the wellness and counseling services have with community support.

Hey guys! We are Madison and Sabrina and we’re running for SGA president and Vice President!
Just a little background to get you started on why we are a great pair. We met each other our First year and have lived with each other ever since. We are in SGA as senators and have worked on multiple projects with SGA together. Our connection is one of a kind, we work amazing together and you’ll sometimes hear us say the same thing at once. We hope to take this magic and turn it into something beautiful for this campus!
