Aside from offering family meal kits, I also cater private events ranging from big to small. From dinner parties to family reunions, company parties to weddings, I will write an original menu proposal for you to review and approve. When you are hungry, just call on Mother.

I currently have a few openings in my schedule between October 4 and October 24. Hit me up if you want to party.

Mother is back in the kitchen! Supper club is resuming, starting this Friday with family favorites, lasagna Bolognese and green chili braised beef enchiladas. Side salad will be arugula with croutons, feta, tomato, cukes, and slivered red onion dressed with a smoked tomato vinaigrette.

Go to slcmother.com to get your orders in by Wednesday at midnight for this Friday. While you are there, order ahead for the next three weeks. I’ve got Wednesday night “family salads”, and classic supper club offerings for Fridays. Eat well. Go get it.

This week we’re going again on these little handmade pasta dumplings. Orecchiette with arugula pesto from arugula grown in my backyard and hot Italian sausage. Alternately, I’ve got chicken katsu going with Japanese style milk bread. Salad will be chopped romaine with cucumber, heirloom tomato, herb croutons, feta cheese, and a smoked tomato vinaigrette. Plant eaters can sub fried zucchini for the chicken on the katsu option, and my gluten free folks can do a GF version of the orecchiette on request. Orders cut off at midnight on Wednesday.

Andy catered my book club tonight and it was delicious!
Grilled Salmon, amazing salad with greens & orchiette pasta, and a white chocolate raspberry bread pudding. (We all loaded the hollandaise sauce on--it was prettier before we did that but his hollandaise is just so good!)
