Hey Grandview Township residents. . . we are graveling your roads!! We will sell township gravel by the belly-dump load to you at township price. To place an order, call 532-2334.

So many calls today for our Screened Black Dirt! Yes, we know the long-awaited projects need to be done, but the dirt is in NO condition for delivery or pickup. We are calling it "self-leveling slime" right now. The dirt is fluffy, so absorbs ALL the water. It will need a week of DRY weather to be suitable.

Demolition of former Runnings building moves forward Demolition began Monday afternoon

The contractor, D&G Excavating, Inc., will be closing South Whitney Street between East College Drive and East Marshall Street beginning Tuesday, April 30, 2024. The contractor intends to begin pavement removal and access will be restricted. All vehicles are recommended to be parked on adjacent streets during construction. No through-traffic will be allowed through the project area during the construction project.

Construction updates will also be posted on the City of Marshall website. If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the City of Marshall Public Works office at 507-537-6773. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we complete these necessary improvements.

This shoreline was being undercut fairly severely from the moving water. The MN DNR limited what we were able to do with it, but we think it still turned out very nice.
