Story time!
Back in the summer of 2018, after attending a wedding I came home to finally collapse on my sofa (after disguising my pregnancy all night) - I was in my first trimester and was EXHAUSTED. I took off all my jewellery and places it on my coffee table and quickly went in my bedroom to shower and then go straight into bed.
The next morning I realised I left the house in a state, so decided to clean everything up. Forgetting I had placed my wedding ring (wrapped in some tissue for safe keeping) I ended up wiping with it in and around the entire table and then dumping it all in the trash. Took the trash out, did some laundry and chilled the rest of the day.
Later that night, I realised amongst the stuff and trash I tidied was a crumpled up tissue that actually had contained my wedding ring inside and it was now thrown away. Panic mode kicked in and in that desperation, we all looked through the apartments trash but our efforts were to no avail; we could not find it!

So I’ve been ring-less for the past few years. Although hubby offered to replace it (he stayed extremely calm with me, as I was pregnant at the time lol) I thought things like buying our first home (inshaAllah) and doing the big things were always more important and one day we can circle back and pick a replacement wedding ring out down the line.

That day has finally come Alhamdullilah and you guys I’m just so obsessed!
We picked this ring out together and although it looks nothing like my original wedding ring - I feel like it suits me even more and it is just PERFECT!! 🥹
