You lot know how much I love a late 50’s / early 60’s camp collar leisure shirt and boy is this a lovely one. There is no label in it but I assume British made in a lovely thick oxford cotton. Well worth buying for dreaming of sunny days at home or abroad!
It’s in lovely condition with no noticeable blemishes.

Be quick - this one will not hang around long! Fabulous Stateside Wool mock polo neck / V Neck combination that is oh so up everybody’s street! Something that the top chaps such as a Four Tops era Levi Stubbs would wear. So very cool! This one is made by “Sportswear” and we assume is rebranded Italian stuff.
In fabulous condition with no noticeable imperfections, we believe dead-stock.
We recommend this for a size 38-40” chest and it is stated as a medium.

Very much an early 60’s style jacket, this fabulous two button Tweed Hardy Amies for Hepworths number represents the best details that we love of that period. Featuring covered buttons, one piece box back, jetted pockets and oh so narrow lapels, turn out for winter in only the best!
In fabulous condition with no noticeable imperfections.
We recommend this for a size 40” chest.

The coolest pair of 60’s ladies boots we’ve found for… Well, forever!
Fur lined, purple suede and near enough deadstock… Perhaps worn once or twice inside… If that? We can well imagine a young Chrissie Shrimpton strolling the Kings Road in search of a Rolling Stone to date…
As mentioned, pretty much perfect condition apart from one tiny spot on the left shoe that is hardly anything.
We put these at a size 4 or 5… They measure the following:
Length of sole - 9.5”
Width at widest point - 3.125”

Madam Mod Market
Another great overcoat from my personal collection (apparently 40 is too many… Disgusting I know!)
This time a great Blue Herringbone fly front number by Hepworths. Absolutely perfect over a suit as it’s straight right down to the bottom giving you “that v shape” which is oh so attractive.

Pit to pit - 23”
Shoulder to shoulder - 19”
Shoulder to cuff - 25”

Absolute statement Psychedelic piece here. A British made late 60’s Kaftan shirt made by Beverley under their “Boyola” range.
I can’t really think where to start with this. It is pretty much the best Psych thing I’ve ever come across. I found it in Liverpool where it must have belonged to a member of a beat band as it’s too far out for conventional types. It has a fantastic double button Nehru collar, flared sleeves and a huge rear vent. It’s very, very unusual. What’s best is it’s near enough deadstock. Apart from its missing one of its buttons from the front. I’ll try to find a replacement in my stash over the next few days!
Stated as a 15” collar I’ll recommend this for up to a 38” chest for the full effect. Measurements below:
Collar - 15”
Pit to pit - 22”
Shoulder to shoulder - 18”
Shoulder to cuff - 22”
Length nape to hem - 32”

Okay, I admit. This is the best 60’s car coat I think I’ve ever found. This was bought for me by me. It doesn’t fit, so it’s unfortunately going.

I am really annoyed about this one because I bought it recently for me and it doesn’t quite work on me. It is beautiful! It’s a lovely early - mid 60’s three piece suit designed by Hardy Amies for Hepworths. Boy is it gorgeous! All wool and the cloth is fantastic in Burgundy with Black over check.
Style wise the waistcoat is a great straight bottom styled one as per all good 60’s suits - the jacket features a 2 button opening with a ticket pocket and is ventless with a box back. The lapel is narrow and the notch is bang on. The trousers have a single pleat and metal zipped waist adjusters (sign of great quality!)
There is only one small imperfection and this is a hole has been sewn up on the left sleeve.
I recommend this for a 40” chest and 32” waist - please see below measurements:
Waistcoat:
Pit to pit - 20.5”
Jacket:
Pit to pit - 22”
Shoulder to shoulder - 18.25”

Waist laid flat - 16” (nothing to take out)
Rise - 13”
Inside leg - 28.5” (1” to take down)

This fantastic original 60’s Covert Coat by John Collier (otherwise known as a Crombie due to the cloth used for many of these) is part of my personal collection that I have decided to thin out purely as I’ve just not worn many of the bits I have! This is one of the nicest ones I’ve ever seen and I can well imagine it being owned by someone with a hell of a lot of money in the 60’s… And weirdly they must of been very proud of it as it’s virtually unworn!
It features all of the right details including Velvet Collar, Fly Front and straight cut pockets with flaps and the cloth is to die for!
I recommend this for a 40-42” chest as it’s meant to go over a suit but you be the judge!
Measurements below:
Pit to pit - 23”
Shoulder to shoulder - 18.5”
Shoulder to cuff - 26.5”

First up tonight - let’s go Psychedelic with this Fab Four style highwayman collared Regency style piece of fantastic! Do you have offices in Savile Row and a gig on the roof? This original John Collier whistle is for you.
The jacket is cut superbly with that fantastic highwayman collar and the original pearloid buttons set off that relatively heavy wool very well. The trousers have elasticated waist adjusters that kick out on a slight flare all the way down.
It’s in overall good condition apart from one small hole on the jacket sleeve (which is barely noticeable) and a small hole in the front of the trouser - I’m sure this could be easily sewn up by a seamstress but one may choose to have this invisibly mended.
I recommend this for a 36” chest chap with a 30” waist. Please see the measurements below:
Jacket:
Pit to pit - 19”
Shoulder to shoulder - 16.5”
Shoulder to cuff - 24.25”
Length nape to hem - 31”
Trousers:
Waist laid flat - 15” (+1.5” to take out)
Rise - 12.5”
Inside leg - 30”
Hem width - 9”
