The moment when you realize you are right where you are supposed to be and doing exactly what you were created to do 🎯💫

When I became Naked with myself is when I found my healing. I was diagnosed at the young age of 12 with one of the worst cases of Crohn’s Disease my doctors had ever seen! I had no quality of life and literally lived in the hospital. I was so sick, and my team of doctors couldn’t help me. When your doctor comes to your bedside in tears, its safe to say he has lost all hope. So, they sedated me and transferred me to a research hospital where I had an emergency surgery and woke up with a Colostomy. Well six surgeries and three ostomies later can you believe this, I was still SICK and trust me I was sick of it! Could you imagine living with an ostomy for 14 years. Something you were given to make you better but still sick and in the hospital? Geesh! This is when I began to take a more wholistic and spiritual approach. I ditched the medications that I had been on for years, and to my surprise I started to actually feel A LOT better! So, I continued on my journey. I started eating healthier. I introduced exercise, meditation and my fav, sound therapy to my daily routine. It all boiled down to me completely rebuilding my life and habits from scratch. Starting with my mindset. I had to get rid of the stigma and negative thinking, that this is how my life would always be. Stepping out of my actual reality and creating an atmosphere of self-love and healing brought balance and alignment in my mind, body and spirit. I believe, the trials that we face in life are actually put before us to stretch us a form us to who we were destined to be. I created NT to empower and encourage other individuals to take back the power of there lives. Life is so worth living, Get Naked!

You know has such a cleansing effect on me. Through my healing process I’ve learned that spending time outside brings me such clarity & balance! I don’t care if it’s running, walking a trail, enjoying my sister time💕or simply meditating it never fails me. So I propose a challenge!! No matter how busy you get or where this day takes you take a moment out and simply do whatever it is that makes your heart&soul smile🌞 just a moment for you is the best love💛

I literally cried before posting this picture because at first I was overwhelmed with thoughts of what people will say or think! But honestly I no longer care what people think 🙌🏽 I am HEALTHY, I am WHOLE, I am HAPPY, I am BALANCED, I am LIVING MY DREAMS and I am BREAKING EVERY BARRIER that was set by my own old mindset and even the ones set by others!!! It’s so crazy because SOOOOOO many people counted me out, “DOCTORS, FAMILY, BOYFRIENDS, even FRIENDS” like my life would never amount to anything and I would be bound to the hospital for the rest of my life (yes it was that bad). But GOD said ASHLEE the best is yet to come are you ready because I NEVER counted you out😢💛 so I will NEVER again Hide or Disguise who I really am. Allow me to re-introduced myself! I am Ashlee Boyd a , a business owner “Naked Theory” 🙌🏽😜💛 a daughter, sister, auntieeee💁🏽‍♀️, friend, Future wife and mother 💫♾ I am defined by my Ostomy it makes me ME!!!

I am so excited to share with you guys a big piece of my heart.
It feels so surreal to say Naked Theory will be opening in August!!! I have been working on this for SO LONG and it started by me just wanting to help my own life honestly. After having my 1st Ostomy surgery 14 years ago, it was so hard for me to get me back you know? And attempting to workout on a regular was so hard with my end result.💩🤦🏽‍♀️ I had to fight off depression and really go deep within myself and GET NAKED! Finding self love, balance, alignment and what works for me, have been the greatest ingredients to a healed and healthy lifestyle! So I wanted to create a brand for the love of and allowing us to get naked and truly love the skin we are in!!
