Devel-Up
"Development is defined as how your child grows physically and emotionally and learns to communicate, think, and socialize."
A 2-3 year old kid should be able to make 3-5 word sentences, and understand the basics of communication! Guardians, please remember that if your child is temporarily lagging behind, it does not always mean they are developmentally delayed!
Worried that your child isn't walking yet? Your toddler might not take his/her first steps until their 18th month, and that's fine!
Remember that each child develops at a different pace. If you are concerned, please reach out to your child's pediatrician.
Do you want to facilitate more development in your child? Try joining a developmental playgroup! Call (415) 604-3094 or visit www.gymboreeclasses.com to find a playgroup near you.
