🇲🇽 12th WUKF World Karate Championships
📍 Monterrey - Mexico
📆 12th to 15th July 2024

The WUKF Executive Committee is delighted to announce the 2024 WUKF World Karate Championships will be held in the City of Monterrey (Mexico) over 12th to 15th July.

Monterrey will play host to this prestigious event which will bring together thousands of athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators to the capital city of the state of Nuevo Leon.

Dr Liviu Crisan, WUKF World President : “We are delighted to be hosting the 12th WUKF World Karate Championships in Monterrey. This event will bring our Karate family together in Mexico for four days of exciting competition to the highest standards. This is an important step for our organisation, and we look forward to working with local organisers to deliver a wonderful event.”

📍 Antibes - France
📆 16th to 19th November 2023

The WUKF Executive Committee is delighted to announce the 2023 WUKF European Karate Championships will be held in the City of Antibes (France) over 16th-19th November.

The Azur Arena will play host to this prestigious event which will bring together thousands of athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators to the spectacular Côte d’Azur.

“We are delighted to be hosting the 13th WUKF European Karate Championships in Antibes. This event will bring our Karate family together on the French riviera for four days of exciting competition to the highest standards.

“This is an important step for our organisation, and we look forward to working with WUKF France to deliver an exceptional event.”

WUKF Statement: War in Ukraine

The WUKF stands in support of our Ukrainian brothers and sisters following invasion by the Russian army. This war in Ukraine goes against the values of the WUKF and we send a message of solidarity and support to all those affected.

The Executive Committee (EXCOM) have today decided that Russian & Belarusian athletes and officials will not be permitted to compete at WUKF events until further notice.

We understand the difficulties of penalising athletes for the decisions of their governments.

However, this was a necessary decision to protect the integrity of our competitions and to show support for those caught up in this unnecessary conflict.

The WUKF remains in regular contact with our Ukrainian federations, athletes, and officials.

We admire and support our athletes across the world and hope hostilities cease at the earliest opportunity. Pray for peace.
