AMP'd UP COLOR

It was about this time 7 years ago when my sister Lea told me about this new product that was coming out. It was this new nail polish wrap thing. I said yes I have tried that before. It took like 45 minutes to put on, never felt like it was filed smooth on the ends, and would rip off a layer of my nails when I was washing my hair. No thanks. I am content to have bare short nails. She assured me that this new product was different, although she couldn't tell me much about it yet, as the company had not launched. I told her when it did to let me know. but I doubted it would be any different. (Have I mentioned I am a huge skeptic). A couple of weeks later I get some nail mail that had samples and instructions. I said I would try it so I put it on one hand and my vinyl wraps on the other. (Real nail polish does not stick to my fingers and comes off within 24 hours so I didn't even think to compare that) I sent her pictures and told her I would put it to a test. Fast forward three days later. The vinyl wraps are starting to lift and I am in fear of them being ripped off again, but this new product is still on, looks great, and doesn't have any chips! Well, that is weird. I called my sister and told her and sent her some pics. I was impressed but still skeptical. After all, it had only been three days. A couple more days go by, and the Vinyl wraps have come off, taking a layer of nail with them. But this new thing was still looking good, although there was some wear around the tips, but no CHIPS! I called my sister back and said ok you win. I am in! I sold the remainder of those vinyl wraps on Marketplace and took the money and bought my kit. Thus making me the 1337th Founding stylist!. I was only 10 days behind those less skeptical stylists, and I was ecstatic. Two weeks later, my sister and I were making plans to be at the first-ever Color Street Conference held in Detroit, MI. I was among the 255 stylist who knew this was going to be a life changing product.
