The creative social will have varying arts and crafts to explore - mini macrame, collage, painting, seasonal crafts and more - and will be different for each of the monthly sessions.

The main focus is connection and finding your flow (maybe some gentle inner child joy!)

✨Mandala Workshop (25.11.2023)✨

Come along to this therapeutic and meditative workshop, where together we will get lost in every dot and every line, in every colour choice, in every single mark being made.
Even the wonky ones 🤍
Even the smudged ones 🤍
Even the imperfect ones 🤍

I’ve been creating mandalas and getting lost in doodles for as long as I can remember, and I’m here to share this incredibly mindful art - one that saw me through my daughters open heart surgery - with anyone who wishes to find a little peace with creativity.

We will create our own beautiful mandala pieces to take home, as well as coming together to create a transient group mandala in the centre of the room using natural resources.

All materials and support will be provided to create your mandala, and as this is a make and take event, you’ll be taking your beautiful canvas piece (and newly found skills) home with you!

Why Wild Women?
All too often we get lost in our busy and fast paced lives, so we've created this safe space in which we can connect back to the seasonal cycles. After all, we are cyclical beings born of nature!

Mama Circle - with kiddos and creativity! 🤍

Do you love the idea of creative community and connection, or women's circles and gatherings, but wish you could do it with your little (or older) ones in tow?

If so, I hear you - and this space is for you.

What is it all about?
This is a space for anyone who identifies as a mother to come along and create with other mamas, with gentle focus on creativity and a beautiful bonding opportunity for you and your little one(s).

We will be creating a large group mandala together, then creating our own canvas pieces with acrylic pens (felt tips and paint will also be available for the littles if they prefer)

We will have snacks, juice and tea and there will be an invitation to journal and meditate.

Happy extra sunshine day, northern hemisphere 🌞

The astronomical first day of summer is here and brings the last moments of the Oak Kings reign, and the beginning of the slow descent into darkness and the reign of the Holly King; peaking at Yule.

The Goddess is heavy with pregnancy, mirroring the laden fields and blooms all around us.

In Greek mythology, the six months of light were when Persephone was reunited with the Gods, before descending to her husband, Hades, in the underworld for the remainder of the year.

Gentle reminders of the never ending cycles of our seasons, of light and dark, of life and death.

I have a confession to make,
to you and to myself.

I sit here promoting creativity for wellness.
Putting together informative posts about the benefits of creativity for our mental health.
Inviting folks to come to creative circles I'm fascilitating.

I cancelled my first circle with only one person signed up.

Quite honestly, I was heartbroken.
Gently reminding myself if it's meant to be, it will be.
And then feeling even more sad that something I feel SO passionately about wasn't 'meant to be'.

But then it landed.
It's about alignment.
And I wasn't aligned.

I was crafting only for demonstrations, only for our home ed art club prep, only for content (which I never created because it felt ick)

So here I am, hand on heart and facing my misalignment in the face.
Picking up my pens to create because I NEED it, and not because I feel I should.

Getting lost in every dot and every line, in every colour choice, in every single mark being made.
Even the wonky ones.
Even the smudged ones.
Even the imperfect ones.

It feels so beautiful.
It feels like home.

Why is it that so many of us don't feel safe in our own minds and bodies?
The anxiety, the anger, the sadness, the grief, the pain, the difficulty, the shame.

And by pushing it all down and stuffing it somewhere so we don't have to deal with it, we also lose our ability to feel joy, happiness... presence.

Presence is something I'd like back.
Presence and playfulness.

✨Mandala Workshop✨
Summer Solstice Creative Circle

Summer Solstice, also known as Litha, is the astronomical first day of summer. We celebrate the longest day and the shortest night.

We will come together to create mandala art, both transient and permanent, honouring the cycles and circles of the Wheel of the Year.

We will also be blooming through creative writing, therapeutic journaling, sharing meditation and celebrating the Sun and abundance in our lives.

Please feel free to bring along any flowers or crystals you would like to add to our transient art. A selection of flowers will be provided.

🤍There will be an optional invitation to pilgrimage to the Rollright Stones on another date🤍

Whether you honour the Wheel of the Year, or know little to nothing about the sabbats - you are welcome here in this creative circle.

We will be harnessing the energies of the season and transforming them into something beautiful and tangible.

Venue: Yogalina Wellness Cotswolds

I'm sure you may have noticed that we haven't had a shop for the past few months.

I guess I didn't want to make a post before, but I'm more at peace with it now.

Running a micro business isn't easy.
Running a micro business as a parent isn't easy.
Running a micro business as a home educating parent isn't easy.

Finding balance between joy, business and parenthood has been hard, and plates needed to be dropped.

Websites aren't cheap, they take work, and this was one of those dropped plates.

The kids don't nap like they did when this all started - what a fool I was to think I'd have more time to do things once they got a little older 🙃😅

Most importantly of all, my children only get one childhood and they are by far my top priority!!

All this being said, I'm still here, I'm still open for commissions and I'm still hoarding heaps of finished pieces! So don't hesitate to get in touch if you're after anything in particular.

I'm also offering more in person creative events, as this is where my heart is right now 🤍

Lyra & Atlas is coming up 5 years, which I find so hard to believe! I'm hoping to mark the occasion with a story sale.
