Creating jewelry from wire....so fun! I love working with jump rings creating bracelets, earrings, n Welcome to my page. I’m very excited to be here!
I have always enjoyed crafting. About 10 years ago I began to make earrings. Looking for new ideas was intrigued by a beautiful Byzantine bracelet at my local bead shop. Luckily they were having a class on how to make one, I signed up and was HOOKED!! Not only did I love the bracelet, I loved the process of making it!! I made everyone in the family one as well as many friends. I love learning new
chainmaille designs and creating my own versions. One friend says I am a “jump ring junkie”….so true! I love weaving the rings together to create unique bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. I especially enjoy creating a custom piece for friends and seeing their excitement of being part of the design process. It thrills me when a client comes up to me wearing one of my bracelets and says, “I never take it off”. I began making medical alert bracelets when my daughter and granddaughter were diagonosed with diabetis. My daughter began looking for medical alert bracelets, but so many available were very plain, very expensive, and they were not interchangeable. So I began to make some jump ring chains with clasps on both ends so they could dress up their medical alert and have the ability to wear a different one to match their dress or mood. There are so many health issues other than being diabetic where people should wear alert jewelry, such as Alzheimer’s, Coumadin, seizures, allergies to food or medicine, and the list goes on, that is why it is so important to wear “Medical Alert” jewelry in case of a medical emergency. For every piece of medical alert jewelry sold on my site I will donate $5 to Juvenile Diabetes. Thank you.
3 years ago I completed the Susan G Komen 3-day walk in Phoenix. In order to do the walk, I needed to raise money. I decided to make various chainmaille bracelets with pink Swarovski beads. Thanks to my wonderful friends and family I raised my enrty fee, plus some, within two months! What a great experience that was for me! So to continue on that path, for any bracelet I sell that is made with pink beads I will donate $5 to the Susan G Komen Foundation. Thank you. I hope you love my jewelry as much as I enjoy creating it!
