Happy medical assistants recognition week!! Melissa and Laketsha you are VITAL to keeping our clinic afloat. We appreciate all that you do for us!! โค๏ธ
Happy National Addiction Treatment Week! Dr. Kumar is currently on the PGY-1 substance use rotation at Morris Village where he assists with the assessment and treatment of patients with substance use disorders in the inpatient setting.
Substance use is present in nearly every rotation and clinical setting, however our program offers experiences specifically dedicated to substance use education.
In PGY-2 we have the opportunity to complete the I-ACT (inpatient addiction consult team) rotation at Richland.
In PGY-3, we rotate at the outpatient substance use clinic at the VA.
Lastly, in PGY-4, residents can continue their education with a substance use elective.
