Job Title: Payroll Officer/Senior Accountant
Department: Finance
Shift Timings: 5am-1pm Pakistan time. (You will be working for Australian Company)
Salary: Will be offered based on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

1 - Handles the payroll computation of all onshore and offshore employees.
2 - Refers to the timekeeping and attendance reports provided by the Talent Management Team for a particular payroll period cut off.
Computes employee payroll based on the attendance report and number of worked days by the employee in a particular payroll period cut off.
3 - Finalizes and generates the Payroll Register containing the computed salaries of every qualified employee.
4 - For onshore payroll, all withholding taxes will be computed according to Australian mandated policies on taxes and wages.
5 - Forwards the final payroll register to the Financial Analyst for further review.
6 - If there will be no changes, the payroll register will be sent to the Offshore Operations Head.
7 - Seeks final approval from the Offshore Operations Head for payroll pay-out and crediting to bank accounts.
8 - Provides a Summary Report on Withholding Taxes and submits to the Finance Analyst.
9 - Maintains a ledger file of payroll registers.
10 - Processes payslips online and informs the employees of their payslip availability online.
11 - Ensures that the Bank crediting of payroll to the individual bank accounts of employees have been completed.
12 - Responds to queries and questions of employees on payroll concerns.
13 - Ensures confidentiality of payroll data.
14 - Processes payment of retainer’s fees of contractors, consultants and vendors of the Company.
15 - Processes payment of retainer’s fees of contractors, consultants and vendors of the Company.

Job Qualifications:
- Must be tech savvy
- With proficient excel skills
- Had at least 3 to 5 years of experience handling payroll processing and computations
- Well versed with payroll software and applications
- Can do process improvement
