Alright, it's GO TIME! "She Loves Me Not," my new suspense novel, will be released next Thursday, December 14. I do not have a pre-order option for the paperback so the print version of the book will not appear in the Amazon store until date of publication. However, if you are more interested in the ebook, you can pre-order that in the Kindle Store right now! I just ordered a proof copy of the book and should have it in my hot little hands by this time on Monday. I don't have a release date for "She Loves Me Not" just yet. In addition to some i-dotting and t-crossing in terms of the manuscript, there's that whole cover design thing as well. After multiple rounds of revisions and way too many hours at my desk, my "She Loves Me Not" manuscript is very nearly done. All that's left now is a bit of copyediting to clean up whatever small messes/errors I've left behind. That hopefully won't be too much of a chore. In the meantime, this seems like a good opportunity to tell you what the new book is actually about. If just finished writing the dustjacket blurb, and I'd love to know what you think.

A "literary agent" just called me out of the blue and asked if I might be interested in representation. She wasn't willing/able to answer the simplest questions about herself or her agency, and she didn't seem to know one damn thing about me othat than the readily attainable fact that I am an author. How she unearthed my phone number is beyond me. That was one of the questions she did not answer. On the bright side, it seems the scammers are getting more creative.

Okay, although no one has come out and asked, I'm sure you're all dying to know what's happening with "She Loves Me Not", my soon-to-be-released fifth suspense novel. First round revisions are underway and going well. The manuscript, in its current form, is roughly 140,000 words, and I've thus far gotten through about a third of them. I'm hoping to be through the rest by the end of this month. I will then send it off to my beta readers (reviewers) and await their feedback. Additional revisions will surely ensue. How long that takes will depend on the extent to which my reviewers rake me through the coals. More soon.

Well kids, it's done. I just finished the epilogue for "She Loves Me Not," my fifth suspense novel. That means, at very long last, the first draft of the manuscript is complete! Revisions await, but I'm taking a little time off first. I need a breather.

One step closer. Just put the finishing touches on chapter 32 of "She Loves Me Not." All that's left now is an epilogue. Well, that plus edits, revisions, more revisions, cover design, publication, marketing & promotion, etc., etc. Wow, I felt pretty good thirty seconds ago, and now I kind of feel like crap. So much stil to do...

Yeah, I know. It's been a heck of a long time since I posted anything and even longer since I published a new book. I'm sorry about that. The current project has been a slog, and the painfully slow progress had me in something of a funk. The good news is, the first draft of the manuscript is nearly complete! I've also got some new beta readers (reviewers) to point out all my mistakes and help ensure that this next novel will be my best yet. The working title is "She Loves Me Not," and it will feature more murder victims than all my other suspense novels combined. More details soon...
