I love adding purify to my laundry to eliminate odors and add that “fresh” linen smell (without a harmful fragrance). It’s also great sprayed in stinky shoes, gym bags, and even diffused through the house. It’s a STAPLE in my house!!

Swap it out Saturday - Use a natural, unscented lotion. I love this combination 🌱💕 It’s like a “clean, natural version” of the Bath & Body Works Peppermint Eucalyptus Stress Relief Lotion. Smells very similar but doesn’t contain all the toxic chemicals. ☠️

**The biggest change I’ve noticed since I stopped using personal care products with synthetic fragrances is the amount of headaches I experience. In the past DAILY I would experience a headache. I squeeze approximately 1 TBSP lotion into the palm of my hand and the I added 1-2 drops of each EO. Rub together and then apply to skin! It’s fun to change up the EO for different smells and benefits! (The EOs in this mixture of cooling, stress-relieving, energizing, and open airways for clear breathing!)

Day 12: Swap Out for a natural deodorant

I love these continuous spray bottles available through doTERRA and just add some witch hazel, water, and essential oils for a natural air freshener spray free from all the harmful ingredients!

🔸Some ideas for combos: Peppermint+Lemon, Melaleuca+Lime+Lemon, Orange+On Guard+Clove, Purify+Tangerine, Purify+Lemongrass, Geranium+Lavender+Peppermint, or Rosemary+Peppermint+Spearmint

🔸 You could even make a spray for stinky gym bags and shoes!

Day 3: Swap out your hand soaps! I love adding a few drops of peppermint 🌱 to the On Guard Foaming Hand Soap! Just fill your hand pump 1/2 full with the hand soap concentrate and then fill remaining bottle with water.

Shake and you have a natural, immune boosting hand soap for your home! 🧴

If you do not have the hand-soap on hand here’s an easy recipe I found on the doTERRA Blog to make your own:

Ingredients:
🔸2 tablespoons unscented liquid castile soap
🔸1 tablespoon Fractionated Coconut Oil
🔸10 drops favorite essential oils
🔸Water

Instructions:
Pour castile soap and Fractionated Coconut Oil into bottle.
Add essential oils.
Slowly add water into bottle, making sure to leave room for the foaming pump.
Add lid, shake, and you are good to go!
When ready to use, just pump one to two times into hands and wash with warm water.

Day 2: Swap out store bought toilet cleaner with Baking Soda, EOs, and Vinegar.

Simply flush toilet, Sprinkle Baking Soda in Bowl, Add 5ish drops of Melaleuca around bowl, Let Soak 10 minutes, Pour in white vinegar to create “foaming” reaction, Let Sit 1 more minute, Lastly scrub Bowl and flush!

Other EOs I’ll use include On Guard or Purify.

New year, new you . . . right?

That can be a little overwhelming, so let’s start with one thing at a time! For those of you whose New Years resolution is to create a “cleaner, non-toxic” home I will share an idea each day in January of simple ways to swap out products in your home with natural, healthy solutions!

Day 1: Toss the dryer sheets! Replace with reusable dryer balls. You can add a few drops of EO to each ball - some of my favorites to use include lemongrass, peppermint, and patchouli!

Also for static add a little vinegar to each ball! (Your clothes won’t smell like vinegar after their dry ☺️)

Frankincense is known as the “King of Oils” for so many reasons.... It can be used for literally everything - pain, stress management, skincare, cellular support and prevention, immune support, etc.

I use the oil when I’m experiencing headaches. It has been the only thing I’ve been able to replace excedrin with! I also use it for tension in my head and shoulders, cramps, and for any sort of muscle/joint injury!

For extra relief — later the two over area of concern. Apply oil first then rub cream over top. The essential oils get driven further into the body/muscle tissue/and joints!

Thursday’s BOGO is a fun one!!

🌲Holiday Peace smells like a Christmas candle!! I have loved replacing my candles with this natural alternative! The essential oils in Holiday Peace are very calming, relaxing, and grounding! It has a “pine” smell to it - Reminds me of one of my favorite holiday traditions - cutting down our Christmas Tree! It is a blend of Siberian Fir, Grapefruit Peel, Douglas Fir, Himalayan Fir, Frankincense, Vetiver Root essential oils.

🍊Citrus Bliss smells like an orange+vanilla! It is delightful! I love adding a few drops to my un-scented lotion! It’s also great as a cleaner and air freshener! It is so energizing
