Gender minority individuals have higher rates of homelessness, unemployment, mental and physical illness, sexual abuse, and discrimination.

Thank you so much to Ana Progovac from Health Equity Research Lab for speaking on these heartbreaking statistics, and thank you for continuing your research on such an underrepresented population.

Our CMM members had a great time representing Cornell at the 5th Annual Ivy League Mental Health Conference at Harvard University, which was hosted by Harvard SMHL! The theme was Diversity & Mental Health, and we are looking forward to continuing to work with the Ivy League Mental Health Coalition!

Your presentation generated so much discussion and creativity. As peer educators, it is essential that we advertise more effectively as to spread awareness of the resources available to treat mental illness and reduce stigma. Thank you!
