And if you’re feeling peckish Junior's Takeaway will also be open with a limited menu before they close reopening on the 28th December until 31st December.

1630 Monday 4th - Hyde Lane is flooded again and there is a car broken down in the floodwater partially blocking the road.

Pop on down to say hello to him and all the lovely stallholders at The Christmas Fayre today at the pub, the Baptist church and the village hall. Lots of food, drink and gifts.

Our beautiful topiary flower has gone missing! Last seen being carried off by a stranger in a dark hoodie at about 1am this morning. Having achieved fame in our Taunton Flower show a few years ago, its distinctive flower shape is not hard to miss! If anyone knows the whereabouts of our topiary flower, we are offering a reward of a £100 gift voucher for details leading to its safe return to its Monkton Elm Family!
