The O Course Crucible

t is a grueling 54 hour event over 40 miles of land and water, including 32 obstacles, strenuous testing, hardship, and the deprivation of food and sleep.

“The O Course Crucible” is a reflection of the elite Marine Corps Crucible test, made possible for civilians of all physical levels. The race will NOT be a 54 hour event, but will be every bit as challenging. The “O Course Crucible” will be the most diverse, creative, and physically and mentally challenging adventure race, serving as the standard by which all others will be judged. Completion of “The O Course Crucible” is a distinct honour which will serve as a defining moment of strength and will.

“The O Course Crucible” is designed by a former U.S. Marine Corps Drill Instructor Sgt Tony A and spans 15 miles with over 30 of the most unique obstacles ever seen. Course details will remain classified until judgement day, 2013-08-24. In the heat of battle, strangers will become friends, friends will become enemies, but in the end you’ll unite with your fellow Crucible warrior. You’ll defeat your weaknesses and marshal your combined strengths to achieve your common goal of finishing the Crucible.
