The Title of the Music Event I’ve been curating thanks to Giardini Luzzati in Genova.

Let me break it down:

POV : points of view —> very important to me and the vision for NoOx Management 💫

Italy sounds like… —> It’s about my own creative direction where I connect these pov. What is Italy (in music) ? Is it that stereotyped country (music market) ?
My answer is NO!
This is the mirror of the Italy and its music I daily live and I wish to grow more and more.

It is NOT a “niche” - it is more than this, it’s the PRESENT and so the FUTURE of this music.

* “Inclusive” line ups are not only about “quotes” (this very dangerous word) but it is about sounds, contexts, backgrounds, languages, expressions…

** GENOVA my beloved city which I will always come back to as I would love it to be as plural as it might be since ages.

I protagonisti e la regista saranno in sala dopo la proiezione per un panel moderato da Simohamed Kaabour uno dei fondatori di CoNNGI e Nuovi Profili.

Nel maggio 2021 Silvia Nocentini (NoOx) a 26 anni, apre la sua impresa nell’industria musicale, e decide di investire in un viaggio in Senegal dopo essere stata contattata dal direttore del Dakar Music Expo di Dakar. Il viaggio inizia con NoOx e Sek (artista), che raggiungono F.U.L.A. (artista), trasferitosi in Senegal un anno prima. Insieme cercano di cogliere il meglio dall’industria musicale senegalese, in soli 10 giorni. Ma non solo. Lungo il percorso, il documentario esplora le identità e le aspirazioni di ognuno, offrendo momenti intimi che aggiungono profondità emotiva al documentario. Con DARE si vedono giovani imprese, ponti ed identità ve**re assieme in un unico formato.⁣

A seguire il live Afrosoul e Mbalax Pop dell’artista senegalese Alassane Badboy con la sua band The Conquerors, accompagnato dal rinomato batterista senegalese Papi Dieng, direttamente dal roster internazionale di NoOx Worldwide e, anche loro, parte del film stesso. La serata prosegue con l’after party presentato da NoOx, a ritmo di Afro Urban & Afro House al Diagonal di Piazza Pollaiuoli con il set di Dj Mabel.⁣
