Over the last 100 years, public health has been supported by experts in the field of nutrition. To celebrate Public Health Workforce Week, we would like to give our thanks to the commitment of registered dietitians and nutritionists.

These dedicated professionals have actively contributed to the improvement of the health and wellbeing of the most disadvantaged in our society, leading to a healthier and longer living population. An example of this is the introduction of school meal programmes, safeguarding the protection of vulnerable children. Policies now aim to improve the quality of our food supply in response to the growing prevalence of chronic diseases linked to poor nutrition.

Please join us in expressing our gratitude for their crucial role in shaping public health. đź‘Ź đź‘Ź
