Child Rights Advocacy and Paralegal Aid Centre (CRAPAC) is a Malawian NGO established to create a conducive environment which promotes and protects human rights by assisting the vulnerable groups, children and marginalized people for a meaningful human development. CRAPAC was established in 2007 but got registered with the Malawi Government in 2010 under the trustee’s incorporation Act (1962). It
is affiliated to the Council for non-governmental organization in Malawi (CONGOMA), and Malawi Human Rights Consultative Committee (MHRCC). CRAPAC is implementing programmes on Child rights programmes, Access to justice, Rule of law, HIV and AIDS, Gender Based Violence and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Objectives
• To implement Human Rights Education Programmes for promotion and protection of human rights especially to the poor and vulnerable children.
• To provide a paralegal aid service to people in conflict with the criminal law in both state and non-state fora who cannot access justice on their own.
• To work in a spirit of partnership with all formal and informal criminal justice agencies and to promote linkages at the local level between those agencies.
• To serve vulnerable women, children and youths who are in risky situations and protect their rights.
• To advocate for social and justice policy reform
• To research and provide Human Rights data on cases of human rights violations. Does CRAPAC Network with other Organizations?

• A member of NGO Gender Coordination network. CRAPAC covers the whole central region of Malawi in its operations and may go beyond. Currently working in Traditional Authorities Njewa and Chitukula in Lilongwe to work on the promotion of sexual reproductive health rights for adolescents and youth, protection of children from child trafficking, promotion of youth friendly health services targeting the rural youth who are disadvantaged, protection of children from child labour, promoting back to school initiatives for teenage mothers and school dropouts.
