Discussion with Jesse Funk

23/08/2021

Beginning September 13, 2021, from 12-1:30 pm Mountain Time Natasha Helfer, LCMFT, CST, CSTS will be offering a 7-week online Male Support Group focusing on healing from having been incorrectly diagnosed as a "s*x/porn addict”.

Due to the intimate nature of these sessions, space will be limited. Call 208-391-7804 to register.

12/08/2021

Registration for Natasha's new 7-week On-Line Religious Trauma Group is now open. This group size will be kept small due to the intimate nature of the session. Reserve your spot by calling 208-391-7804.

Discussions will focus on the concerns and effects of leaving a high-demand, shame-based religious background, along with the moderate to severe implications on mental health, wellness, self-care, and relational distress.

Each session is $60*. This is much more affordable than an individual session with Helfer, LCMFT, CST, CSTS

The Mormon Mental Health Association is excited to announce a virtual mini ethics conference, Ethical Dilemmas in Working with Mormon/LDS Clients: Can Science Converse with Religion in the Therapy Room?, in partnership with the Sunstone Symposium on July 30 from 9am-12pm. This will be a virtual conference and will meet the requirements for Mental Health Professional's Ethics CEs.

In light of Natasha Helfer's recent excommunication, we are needing lots of conversations taking into account considerations for therapists and other mental health professionals/educators who find themselves holding the tensions between religious belief and scientific standards. Please help us spread the word. Although this conference is directed at mental health professionals, anyone in the public is welcome to attend.
This is also a great time to join our association, since you will get a discounted rate for the conference! And we have student rates as well.
