I am looking forward to our meeting Saturday, seems like it has been a long time coming. We will have a guest speaker, and we’d like to invite those interested in learning more about Pilot Club to attend. We start at 9 a.m. and meet in the lunchroom of the New Hope Academy on Water Street in Prattville. Breakfast is provided.
Our guest speaker is Cynthia Cuppernell and you will not want to miss what she has to say on su***de prevention, violence prevention, mental health and traumatic brain injuries. She is a certified brain injury specialist and a survivor. She is also a caregiver.
If you can’t attend in person and would like to attend via Zoom, provide your email address and Mrs. Clark will send you the link to join.

The Pilot Club of Prattville, Al. meets the second Saturday of each month in the lunchroom at the New Hope Academy. The New Hope Academy is housed in the facilities of Sovereign Grace Church in Prattville. In honor of Founder's Day Month we hosted a "share pilot" event by having Cherie Taylor from Sunshine and Pixie Dust conduct a wreath-making class. We had ten guests along with our members who left with some amazing art for their front door. Here are some scenes. I hope I get all of the names correct in the photos.
The Pilot Club of Prattville, Al. is offering opportunities to win some gorgeous team-theme wreaths as well as a wreath that depicts our Pilot International President’s Theme of Sharing Pilot Sunshine.
The wreaths will be on display and winners announced at the Alabama District Pilot Fall Council the last weekend in October in Orange Beach, Alabama. There will be four different drawings.
One opportunity to win is $1 or you can get six for $5. Between now and October 28 members of the Pilot Club of Prattville will have tickets. If you are attending the Alabama District Fall Council in Orange Beach, Alabama, we will have them at our table in the Marketplace.
You can designate which wreath or wreaths you hope to win. In other words, you can put all your tickets in the “Hello Sunshine” wreath, or any one of the team-themed wreaths, or you can divide your tickets among all four wreaths or any combination of the wreaths.
Pilots who want opportunities to win, who will not be at the Fall Council, contact Connie Chance Rogers. You can pay her electronically through a variety of platforms and she will make sure your tickets are placed in the appropriate drawings.
