Embody Rose Morning Brunch Yoga Retreat Complete ✅
Our first Yoga Retreat was a success, the mimosas went down well and the ladies spent a full day taking care of our physical and mental well-being, focusing on positive affirmations and feeling empowered in our own bodies 💚
Lots of treats were included such as:
Reflexology with Anita 🦶

Tarot Card reading with Mystic Donna 🧙‍♀️

We sold out without advertisement in 3 days! Wow! 😮 So stay tuned for the next Retreat Coming Soon and will be shared online, but grab a place quickly as they will soon go!

Sadly due to Thursday classes at CAFAG not picking up there will be no class on tonight or in future. Please contact me on 07940 964 538 if you are interested in Yoga around the Stoke on Trent area and let me know what area you are from and what days/times are convenient for you. This will help me to set up yoga classes in the right area for those interested in starting or continuing Beginners Yoga Classes 🙏

I am saddend to say that Tonight's Yoga Class @ Sandon Village Hall has been cancelled and postponed to start Monday 17th April due to illness... I tried to leave it until the day to see if hopefully I'd make a speedy recovery but sadly not. My sincere apologies but First FREE class will take place on MONDAY 17th APRIL so please save the date in your diary and look forward to seeing everyone there! Complimentary drinks and muffins will be provided

Learn to love being in your own company, it’s all about YOU.

True calmness and peace is when you can truly be alone without fear, without distraction and without doubt.

To truly breath and just be in the moment, to see things so clearly for the first time through an open, quiet mind, restful eyes and still body.

Do something you enjoy, without judgement! If that be something as small as relaxing at home in your tub, going out into nature, reading a book or even going to a local coffee shop.

Take a moment away from the technology world (you find it is easy to be alone there) why not in the real world too? Take your first steps bare foot and perhaps at the beginning it may feel strange, but with time you will feel free in your own created space of happiness, all for you.

Said you would organise your wardrobes but still looks like a bomb has exploded in there? …

Minimalistic is this years environmentally friendly approach to sustainable fashion and we just LOVE it ♻️

I’m sure you have 5 white Ts, 10 pairs of blue jeans but you know your only favourite pair, and a million jumpers that forever go dusty in that wardrobe because you know you always wear your favourite stained comfiest jumper at home all day, every day … am I right? Or am I right.

Well… there is a solution to having that OCD loving look.

- Mix & Match - don’t think twice and throw away all the clothes you have not worn in at-least 6 months, bye bye. Keep a collection of solid colours and the odd pop of colour, where it is easier to mix and match clothes so you can achieve a different look everyday, with the same attire.

- Accessorise - use your accessories as your weapon for sparkle, sass and slaying. Helps to add texture and detail to your outfits.

Sustainability - sell the clothes you don’t want anymore 💵 and buy new, as the saying goes, out with the old, in with the NEW. Keeping space in them Narnia wardrobes plus saving you money too.

Finally, buy less but more quality clothing.

5 SIMPLE TIPS ON HOW TO REDUCE STRESS AT HOME

1) Make your BED.. if you can do this that takes 30 seconds. Then anything is possible for the next 23hrs 30 minutes left of your day.

2) GET OFF YOUR PHONE and be productive.. do your thing for 10 minutes and then breath, look up and actually take in your surroundings and how you are using your free time, is it wisely?

3) Take supplements and increase your nutrition intake. IRON tablets ladies.. especially if you are vegetarian or vegan 🌱, COCONUT OIL or YOGURT.. good for your energy levels and VITAMIN C will help to speed up fat loss (increase metabolism)

4) ❌ CAFFEINATED DRINKS are not your friend … but if you truly want glowy skin… juice or water will make it happen STAY HYDRATED (Boiled water and a slice of lemon - this helps to reduce inflammation and cleanse the body) 🍋

5) HOT BATH 🛁 relax and give time to just do and be you.. self pampering helps to feel good and sexy and prevents chronic stress, by helping you to relax. Make this your ROUTINE at least once a week.

Additionally, a 5 minute meditation never hurt anyone 🧘 and make sure you get in your 8 hours 💤

Resolutions not gone as planned? WHAT NOW? … instead of reaction, let’s take action …

A month into the new year with so many plans, but instead found yourself four weeks in and still no change, only just recovering from the empty pockets after Christmas and the alcohol finally coming out of your system. Not to worry, you are not alone and almost EVERYONE is thinking yep, me too.

But that does not mean to throw away your resolution plans just because this stigma of resolution lingers over you like a bad smell, only putting stress and pressure onto you. Where you then either feel as though you are a failure or have set yourself up ready to fail, instead of using positive affirmations. Choosing to punish yourself by either trying to starve, trying to do too many things all at once or just not lasting more than a few days (or 1👀). Your to do lists ever growing because you have given yourself too much to achieve in such little time and feeling like your ready to just give up and throw in the towel.

BUT your Resolutions CAN be achieved, if done in the right way. HOW? Forget what you know, forget January and use ‘new year’ more as your guideline rather than a set target date. NO DATE, NO PRESSURE. So you will then begin to gradually carry out your resolutions in a much more positive way, through motivation and enthusiasm… rather than pressure and punishment. Simple Right.

Psychologist B. F Skinner was one of the first to discover behavioural differences and started evidence, which still continues to be researched now. It shows that PRAISE has a much more positive effect on a person, rather than punishment.

Basically meaning, be kind and patient to yourself, encourage rather than shame and remember that you can do it … but it will just be in your own time 💭
