Thanks to the Trammels of Stoney Glenn (my hood) AGAIN 😀, this time we did a refresh on the downstairs living areas… we replaced carpet on the stairs and in the den with new white oak hardwood floors. Sealed with Bona High Traffic water based finishes, this floor is ready to take on the next 30 years. We also refinished all of the existing hardwood floors in the dining room and formal living room, and added hardwood to the upstairs landing as well. New newel post and refinished handrails made everything new again. We also gave the fireplace an update and WOW, it’s my new favorite! This is a cool fireplace too, electric! And so easy to use and pretty! We also replaced some lighting and added some canless lights on dimmers to the formal areas. A fresh coat of paint (3 shades of Passive) and we only have the kitchen and powder room left 😉

Thanks to the Diggs of Lakeside for having us in to renovate their main bathroom. We removed the original avocado green tub/shower, took up the floor, removed the vanity, the medicine cabinet and light, and replaced it all. We built a new shower with a custom niche, tiled to the ceiling, with a quartz curb that matches the vanity and several grab bars to help with safety. We installed in floor heating and a beautiful new tile floor, with marble baseboards. We topped the new vanity and extended it over the toilet to add to their countertop space. A new mirrored medicine cabinet, new light fixture and all new Moen accessories. We think it turned out beautifully! If we can do something similar for you, please let me know.

Thanks to the Crumps of Chester for having us in to help recover from a water leak. This project included custom cabinets, quartz countertops, tile backsplash and lots of lighting. In addition to the kitchen we installed LVP flooring in the basement and removed and replaced all of the insulation in the attic as well as replaced the attic pull down stairs. Bill and Lynn were a pleasure to work with and we look forward to more projects to come. If we can assist you with something similar please let me know. We have availability for a large project from mid October through the end of the year. Reach out to discuss your project ideas. Thanks! Stephanie

Thanks to the DeMascole’s of Mechanicsville for having us out to help get their house put back together after a water leak; as well as make a few improvements. In the garage we replaced the insulation in the ceiling, hung and finished the new ceiling and replaced a light and some receptacles. Then we trimmed it out with 1 x 6 to make the room look more finished. In a basement room that was only partially finished we added outlets to code, some canless ceiling fixtures and added drywall to two walls, then installed new baseboards. In the laundry room we tiled the floor and installed new baseboards. Then we painted all of these areas plus the dining room. We also added a hand rail to the steps in the walk up attic, but I didn’t get pics. It all turned out great and the homeowners are happy to be able to start putting everything away. On top of that I made a new friend! If we can do something similar for you, please let me know.

Thanks to the Tripletts of Chester for having us in to do a whole house renovation. We completed the interior about a month ago, just wrapped up the exterior. We added this beautiful front porch with a metal roof and stained clear pine support columns and trim. Black aluminum handrails, custom stained pine shutters, and a new sidewalk. On the back we added a little roof over the back door and a gate across the deck to help with the dogs and grandchildren. We cleaned out the crawlspace, added a v***r barrier and new insulation, then built and installed a new access door. We replaced all of the exterior doors and added a doggie door to the rear entry. We replaced some of the siding and all of the exhaust covers and dryer vent cover. We LOVE WHOLE HOUSE PROJECTS! Let me know if we can do something similar for you! We still have two openings for big projects this year, late summer and late fall. If you’re ready call now! 804-712-6727

Thanks to the Tripletts of Chester for having us in to do a whole house project. We have just about completed the inside and the family is going to start moving back in tomorrow, so I thought I’d share some pics. Please keep in mind we were still doing the last minute painting when I took these. Here’s what this project consisted of: We repaired the sub floor where there was water damage from leaking toilets and tubs, and then replaced all the flooring with this very durable LVP. We did extensive drywall repair throughout the house, including adding drywall to the new closet we built in the bonus room over the garage, and then we painted every last nook and crannie. We replaced some of the interior trim and all of the exterior doors, as well as all of the interior door hinges and k***s. The bathrooms got updated with new tub/shower surrounds and new vanity tops and plumbing fixtures. We also replaced all of the ductwork in the house making their system more efficient and installed a new gas insert. The kitchen was updated with granite countertops, and a herringbone tile backsplash. Then we painted the cabinets and installed new hardware. Lastly we installed all new cordless blinds. Whew! I will post again when we complete the exterior. If we can help you with a similar project, please let me know. Now booking larger projects for summer and fall.
