Sweet Parrish Place
Sweet Parrish Place is a lifestyle blog that focuses mostly on home decor, small DIY projects, and personal style. Email to collaborate!
I created this website as an addition to my blog, sweet parrish place. I realized that people I did not know were requesting to be my friend on facebook as a result of reading my blog. I want to keep my personal page personal, so I decided to create this page and make it public so that anyone who wants to can view it! I have a passion for decorating, DIY, and taking a peek into homes of all kinds.
We met today, and I have to tell the little story about meeting him! It all happened so quickly- we individually walked up for a photo-Jason went first, then Delaney, next me. I said hello and gestured towards Delaney and said that’s my daughter! Why you ask? Well she’s my greatest creation so it just came out my mouth 😉, next they snapped a photo I went to walk off and he touched my shoulder and said “wait, did you mean daughter or sister? “😍 I swooned and drifted away, and I remember standing that close to the biggest movie star I’ve ever met and all I was thinking was his shirt is 100% linen and I am so close to him I can see the pores in his skin! 1 1/2 hours standing in the Texas heat in high heels? 💯 worth it 😊
It doesn’t get much more gorgeous than this
Swipe for the beautiful sunset I was watching
We planted a hibiscus plant last weekend and it’s blooming already. I hope we can keep it alive. How gorgeous are these flowers?! 🌺
Something very fun happened today at IRL ~ I got to meet the queen of radio, !!! ♥️💃 She could not have been more sweet and she was stunning all around! This day deserves a permanent spot on my feed

My beautiful Mother in her prime. May you Rest In Peace mom. You will be missed 💔🌹
This is a post I don’t want to make, no one does. Yesterday, our mom, Tina Dian Stadin Paugh, passed away while on hospice care at United Hospital Center, following a series of illnesses. 💔 We will be celebrating her life at Amos Carvelli Funeral Home in Nutter Fort with a viewing on Monday, September 19th from 4:00-8:00 pm. Her funeral service will be Tuesday, September 20th at noon, followed by a burial service at the Grafton National Cemetery.

I finally got around to planting some flowers on the front porch.
Still need to hide the cords, but I’m loving our new DIY shiplap wall!

Merry Christmas to one and all!
This is what 51 looks like 🎂
It feels like I have been making over our stairway area for 6 months. But it’s finally almost finished! Still waiting on hooks to arrive. Swipe for a before! I’m loving this transformation!
Happy 4th of July friends!
Say hello to my new caladium. I’m naming her Pinky Lee! I hope she likes it here! 😘
We had our back patio stained last weekend and it made such a huge difference! The old stain had seen far better days. Now all we need is a grill, and outdoor dining set, and flowers. Oh and a pergola would be nice too. Please and thank you! Swipe for a before! @ Austin, Texas
New bedding after 7+ years was worth the splurge!!! I have been working on making over our master bedroom all winter and the bedding was the thing I was most excited about. This is all from opal house and hearth and hand lines. I still need to steam the wrinkles out of my bedskirt, but I couldn’t resist sharing it! See all the details of me making up my newly painted bed in my stories!
