The Arena of Stage 1 of Lipica open 2024 will be set right in front of the entrance to Vilenica cave, which is recognized as the first cave ever in the world made accessible to tourists.

After completing the first stage of the Lipica Open, you will have an exceptional opportunity to visit the Cave. If you haven't done that before, we recommend taking advantage of this opportunity.

The price for a 1-hour guided tour: €12 for adults, €7 for youths, and €6 for children under 14 years old. The tours are scheduled for at 13:00, 15:00, and 16:30 (on Saturday March 9th).

Lipica Open 2024 is just around the corner and here is the little beauty - a map sample from the new map Trmun 😍. We will use this part at Stage 4.

All in all we have completely updated cca. 5km2 of the old maps and mapped cca. 2km2 of new terrain for this year's edition of Lipica open.

Like always Lipica open starts on the second weekend of March (9.-13.) and we hope to see you in nice number again :)!

Apart from Lipica, in next year we will also organize OOcup in France and Bubo cup on Cres island in Croatia! Both events in some amazing terrain. Check www.oocup.com and www.bubocup.com

Big thanks to all of you who took part in this year’s edition of Lipica open. We tried to deliver races in different terrain types and we hope that you enjoyed what we served. A big thanks also to all the organizers, you were efficient and great as always!

Our next big project is OOcup up in forests of Trnovo plateau. You are very welcome to take part, the terrain up there is pretty amazing!

As for the Lipica 2024, we’re planning to map some areas – at least one stage will be held partly in new terrain – so stay tuned for more information and hope to see you next year!

The first stage of Lipica open is now behind us and it was really nice to see Arena and so many people right in Lipica. Btw. this place used to be regularly used for Arena in the beginnings of the competition some 20-30 years ago :).

We hope you enjoyed the Stage 1. Radek Novotny, former Czech national team member and the current coach of Austrian national team commented the race:
"Already at the first glance it was wow, this I want to run! Pure navigation challenge in genuine nature. A lot of inspiration, a race where you forget about running. Forces you to make mistakes, but these are only yours because the map is perfect. We enjoyed a lot and also had a lot to talk about and to take away with us. Thanks."

Tomorrow something quite different on the menu. The classical Krajna vas terrain! See you!
