Unveiling Ayla Wellness & Coaching
Hello and welcome to Unveiling Ayla Wellness & Coaching. Grab your notebook, running shoes, and your Hi! I'm Pam. I am so glad you are here. Come right in.
I created Unveiling Ayla Wellness & Coaching to help women renew their minds and strengthen their bodies through nutrition and movement. The work we do together is grace-based and focuses on the whole being - not just the outside appearance. I help them love themselves right where they are TODAY. I help them create calm and order where there is now chaos by tackling their day to day routines so th
My collection of post-it notes is going to get out to great use today.
Ask me what I am doing 🤔
oday is a hot tea, blanket, and Netflix kind of day. As much as that sounds groovy to many, it really stinks for me.
I have not been sick since January 2020. We work hard to eat well, keep our movement up, and rest appropriately in order to boost our immune systems against the prevailing bugs of the season. It is disappointing that this one got me. 😓
Any goal that we aspire to begins with getting our mind right to our true identity.
We were created with a plan and a purpose. Our future was not left to chance or a whim of the universe.
Where is your identity rooted?

Salt or no salt?
I grew up knowing it was absolutely acceptable to put salt on your melon. I didn’t know why. I just knew it was good.
It turns out that salt is a magnifier. It adds depth and richness when used correctly. And not just any old iodized salt. Splurge on the Celtic Sea Salt and treat your body with some of the minerals it needs.
If it’s good enough for caramel then it’s good enough for melons!
Comment below if salt is a heck yes or a heck no!
I am reminded this morning that God’s timing is always perfect.
Whether a word from a friend or a change in life.
May this be my prayer as we face changes in the coming months.
If we are being honest, life is heavy for everyone ☄️
even if they never tell you and 🐚
by all accounts it seems they have it all together. 🍀
It is so comforting to me that when I reach the end of my day of holding up all the heavy that I can rest in the promises that my strength comes from the LORD. I can sleep well knowing I gave my day my very best and showed myself accountable where I made mistakes.

I made these earth bowls last week. I won’t lie - I was a little hesitant about the blueberries.
But! A little vinaigrette and a fork made me a very happy camper!
Yes!
Nothing further.
Carry on with the HARD work of becoming a better you!
Exciting progress for a project that has been in the works for a few years! Stay tuned!!
Happy anniversary of your graduation to Heaven, Daddy. I know you are living with a fully healed body and mind and enjoying being in the presence of your Savior. I know I will see you again soon.
Many might disagree but I believe the last years of your life, despite being riddled with the effects of dementia, were the best years of your life. Dementia changed you in so many positive ways and I am blessed that I could be there to see it.
This was arguably one of the loneliest days of my life despite having family near. Our world had just shut down. No one was touching or even coming close to each other. I desperately gripped my phone while I waited for my 1 o’clock update from the amazing nursing staff who took great care of you and made sure you weren’t alone. But that hour came and went with no update. The next call I received would be the last and it would forever change my life again.
Until I see you again I will always remember the clearest green and shiny eyes and you telling Dan and I that you love us without a trace of confusion on the last day I saw you. I hang onto the memories and praise God for your eternal healing.
🤓 I am going to dive deep into the basics with you guys.
Perhaps you are brand spankin’ new to the wonderful world of essential oils or maybe you are a seasoned oil veteran. Wherever you land on the scale, I hope that you are able to learn something new as well as enjoy hanging out as we go through what I like to call “Essential Oils 101.”
Let us know in the comments if you are new around here, or if you are an old oil pro!
My conversion to doTerra came when I smelled the Geranium. If you know this oil (and you probably do), it is very strong and can be very biting but the doTerra Geranium was sweet and smooth and did what I expected it to do :)
👉 Have you ever purchased a product and were completely shocked at how well it worked for you? Share your experience below!
You may know that there are a plethora of different essential oil companies out there, but there was something different about doTERRA for me.
So why did I decide to use dōTERRA?
✅ Co-Impact Sourcing: doTERRA sources our oils from all over the world where that specific plant THRIVES in...think soil, temperature, humidity, harvesting process, distillation process...all of it leads to the highest quality of essential oils on the market.
✅ Unmatched purity and potency: again, I was looking for essential oils to use to support my body so I had to be sure what I was using was 100% pure essential oil, no adulterations, no chemicals, no pesticides. With the rigorous quality testing that doTERRA puts their oils through I know with every bottle I get I am using 100% pure essential oil every time.
✅ Founding Executives: when looking at any company to purchase from I go all the way to the top to understand who is making critical decisions that will impact the product. With doTERRA they are a debt free privately owned company with the same founding executives who have built the company since the beginning. The awareness of the global impact that harvesting essential oils has, and seeing doTERRA is constantly making multiple initiatives to support sustainability, is just one small example of how this company is making a difference on the harvesting side of the bottle. These small decisions make a big impact and showcase the integrity and morals of the company.
Have you ever tried doTERRA essential oils? If so, tell me your experience!
I have a MASSIVE secret! 😬 OK, maybe not massive for those who know me but....
I have been struggling with the gamut of autoimmune issues and have found something that has CHANGED THE GAME 📣
doTERRA Essential Oils....why!? Because they ACTUALLY WORK! (like blow your mind work! 🤯)
I was completely skeptical that these little brown bottles would actually do anything in my life, but I was OPEN to natural ways of supporting my life so I dipped a toe in and just...WOW!
I want to share with you some really impactful ways I have been using these oils over these next few weeks, so sit back and follow along! You are welcome to reach out to me with any questions or if you see what I see and want to have these amazing tools in your home I can support you with that
I am excited to connect with you and share a behind-the-scenes peek into my life.
In the meantime, please tell me one thing you want to learn from me? About oils? About wellness?
Now that’s a WELLNESS box!
And beautiful partners for us!
Both of the babies snuggling on the couch.
Fun fact: BoBo will snuggle with me usually in the morning on the recliner in our bedroom. Lucas almost always is next to me in the recliner in the living room. It happens but it is not a common occurrence for it to be the other way around.
Do you like bowl meals?
I attended a Buddha bowl class last night given by . I do LOVE a bowl meal. We regularly have them in the form of big A salads.
I’m excited to expand my bowl repertoire in both food and utensil!
To the veterans of yesterday, today, and tomorrow - SALUTE! And thank you.
I am remembering today what an honor and privilege it was to stand in the ranks of the 97th General Hospital among great men and women who were willing to sacrifice everything so that our flag could fly with reverence and pride. I remember those who served before me and those who serve now.
May we hold the ranks with honor so that our flag still means free from the tyranny.
Ah! The T-Rex. Short arms. Short temper. Extinct.
Emily and I did TRX yesterday and I was certain I was dying 5 minutes out of the warmup. I feel every single muscle we worked. Ouchie!
That means today is active recovery and lots of water and stretching. And tomorrow is back at it again. Maybe, it will become cute and cuddly with time and attention 🤷🏻♀️
We hail from all around. From the high desert of Colorado to the beautiful British Virgin Islands. To Florida, Louisiana, and Ohio.
We started as members of the same writers academy before the pandemic. A mastermind. We have continued through shelter in place, various stages of re-opening, and then back to restriction. Our children have gone to college, bought homes, came home, and moved far away. Our projects have continued on, started, and even stalled.
We are no longer in the academy that once brought us together but WE are still together.
We pray for each other. We cry with each other. We worry through storms and the storms of life with each other. We rejoice with each other.
We are varied in geography and purpose but one in heart and mind. And never far from the others’ minds.
So now I wonder? After all this time, are we still in a mastermind or are we a group of strong and vulnerable women who desperately need and deeply love God and desire to serve others with our craft?
We are Sojourners.
Do you have a small group that you do life with? If not, why not start one with 6 ladies? It isn’t difficult. All you need is Zoom and a desire to love and support your people through their daily journeys while they support you in yours.

7, perhaps 8 months ago my doctor diagnosed me with hypothyroidism. He agreed to not medicate me me but would retest me in 6 months (everything takes longer with the VA).
I am hippy, happy to say that my thyroid panel was WITHIN NORMAL LIMITS today. No more hypothyroidism!!!
Lunch with my Dad at his favorite place.
Some of you may have noticed that we are travelling. Travelling can be tough on a normal bowel but someone who has a sensitive bowel will definitely struggle. One way to help is to increase your fruits and veggies.
I have been trying to get fruit at every stop. I bought strawberry donut holes at our last stop They are awful impersonators of strawberries. 🤣🤣🤣

I love Johnny Jump Ups and Pansies. My eye always falls to them first. So when I was walking outside for my second workout today, I could not help but see these beauties.
Not in a perfectly platted garden.
Not in a vase.
Not in a fancy container.
But in a hard and unattractive place.
Surrounded by weeds.
Isn’t this just like life? What might you find today if you took a moment to look past the ugly and unwanted? Perhaps there is some beauty right in the middle just waiting to be discovered and appreciated.
