And just like that, it feels like Fall! I love the "fresh start" that September always seems to bring. This September will be a fresh start here at A Little Peace of the Lake too. I've taken quite a bit of time off from making signs as we juggled school at home with our kids. As we prepare to send them back to in-person learning, I am looking forward to getting back into the workshop myself!

It was certainly a different year than we were expecting, but still SO MUCH to be thankful for!

We have a winner! A few weeks ago I needed help picking a design. I gotta say, I like it!

Beginning December 1st, we read through The Jesus Storybook Bible, by Sally Lloyd-Jones, with our kids. Each day we read a chapter and then we hang an ornament to go along with it. It starts at the creation of the world, and leads up to Jesus' birth.

With wood supply hit-or-miss, and kiddos doing school at home, it hasn't left a whole lot of time for sign making.
It took some doin', but I finished these ornaments in time to get them up on our tree yesterday!

Well I just can't decide on which concept I like the best. What do you think?
