Our yearly family reunion is a great one day event that has evolved over the years. According to my Aunt Mary Francis Holeman, daughter of Mallie Hamlett Holeman, the 1st reunion was held at my grandmother's home in Rougemont, NC. It has been the tradition that someone volunteers to host the reunion from one of my grandmother's siblings family or her cousins family. Some of her siblings were Sara, Rosa, Pearl, Victoria, Earl, and Sam, just to name a few.
