Awareness program was conducted on Child Rights, Child Protection and Psycho social issues at Chinkral Mohallah Stadium Habbakadal. The program was conducted in coordination with the Mohalla committee of the area. Kwide Kashmir with the Mohalla Committee prepared IEC material on child protection issues, and also distributed. Apart from the parents that were present in the programme, the local health workers, members of the local religious institution were also present. Participation of the Children and adolescents from the respective community was in large numbers. Topics covered all aspects of Child protection issues and awareness on MHPSS.
Adolescents and Children also shared their experiences regarding CFS/ARC and how beneficial it has been for them. Committe members also appreciated efforts of the KWIDE Kashmir in initiating such program in the community. At the end, committe members distributed prizes among the Children who were present there.
Program was conducted on a large scale and it wouldn't have been possible without the support of the Chinkral Mohallah committee (ISLAH Bahbood Committee).
