Come Pour with Us - soon! Our remodel and rebrand with Penn & Beech Candle Co. is well underway, and we are so excited to pour with you in our new shops!

We wanted to provide a quick update regarding renovation progress with our Columbus stores (if this doesn't sound familiar, head over to our website blog for more info). Our Worthington store will be closed for renovations starting Sunday, July 4 for ~two weeks. Our Grandview store renovations are well underway, and we expect to open as Penn & Beech sometime the first full week of July. Please stay tuned to our feed and for the most up-to-date information on the exact reopen dates for both stores. And don't worry - we didn't forget about our Short North location! We'll be moving to a gorgeous new space just a few doors down on the same block this fall, but in the meantime you'll notice some Penn & Beech updates to our existing location.

A reminder that our Grandview store is closed for renovations starting tomorrow June 21. Our Short North and Worthington locations will be open during this time for all your candle needs. We’ll see you soon as !

It's happening! We are so excited to announce that our remodel and rebrand with Penn & Beech Candle Co. is just around the corner! Our Grandview shop will be CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS for ~two weeks beginning Monday, June 21. If you poured a candle or are pouring one with us this week, please plan to pick it up before June 21 or when our shop reopens in early July. Our Worthington and Short North locations will be open during this time, so we encourage you to visit those locations while the Grandview shop is closed. Their renovations will soon follow and we'll be announcing those specifics in the upcoming days and weeks.

We know it's been some time since we first announced our plans to merge with our sister store Penn & Beech Candle Co., so here's a refresh! Penn & Beech was founded by sisters Brianna and Lacey through The Candle Lab's Partner Store Program in 2017. Brianna lives in Indianapolis, where their first two shops are located, and Lacey lives right here in Columbus, so rest assured that Penn & Beech remains a locally owned business just like The Candle Lab! Penn & Beech also uses the same natural soy wax, pure fragrance oils, and cotton paper wicks as The Candle Lab, so you’ll still be able to enjoy the same candles you’ve come to love over the years. And while we’ll still be pouring custom-scented candles with the same great team, the way the experience looks and feels will be a little different - in a good way!
