Did you see Rafa win his 21st Grand Slam title?
What an epic match with Medvedev.

His determination and grit to come back after 2 sets down and win the final 3 sets was astounding!
His ability to stay in the zone and perform under pressure is pure greatness ❤️

He’s my favourite tennis star.

As an action adventure athlete, I learned to get in the zone and perform under pressure with my life at stake.

So as a coach specializing in mindset, flow state and fear mastery—I totally loved watching him make this historical win and showing the world what’s possible when you stay on top of your game 🏆

I crave the adventure, wildness and freedom in outdoor swimming but it’s not all easy.

Two hard parts are—getting in and out when the water and air are cold.

So I totally upped my cold water swim game this year with this swim parka—plus fins a size up to fit my thermal socks.

The parka helps me to look forward to getting out of the cold water and makes stripping wet and naked in the cold air way easier.

I have to psych myself up every time to get into cold water bc my body tenses up so much.
Still have cellular fear memories of being on the edge of panic and hypothermia in glacial rivers up north.

Acclimatized= warm and happy but the anticipation of getting into coldwater jacks up my heart rate so I have to spend a few moments getting it down before i start swimming.

I’ve got a honed cold water entry ritual to make the acclimatization process as smooth as possible—the parka totally helps my exit ritual ❤️

How are you coping with the stress of the global insanity?

I gotta say, I’ve had some very down days when I feel like I’ve lost faith in humanity.

Since having a few depressions in my 20s-30s, I know I can’t afford to go there now.

So I’m making promises to myself more than ever.
In June I thought: ‘I wonder if I could swim a 100 kms this summer?”
That felt like a huge goal considering my swim workouts were only 1200-1500m and my body is 58 years old with chronic osteoarthritis pain from a life of action adventure sports.

As a Scorpio with a healthy dose of obsession, I decided it was time to get addicted to lake swimming. Every week I went as often as I could (3-6 days/wk) and as long as possible without blowing out my knees or left foot.

Now I’ve accomplished my longest swim to date @ 3.2 Kms!!!
Previous record was 3 Kms in a pool, but pool laps are too boring for me.
Outdoor swimming is always an adventure! There’s changing weather and water conditions to handle...so many decisions happening all the time to make it happen…and always in love with feeling wild and free.

I’m using the world stress I feel to drive me to constantly fill my bodymind with the top performance enhancers our bodies make:
