Quispamsis Liberal Association
Let's go!!! The page for the Quispamsis Liberal Association... Let’s go!
Tremendous Day of Action in Quispamsis.
Thanks to a great group of volunteers and the people at the door who were willing to share a few moments of their warm Saturday with us.
Wonderful to see former town councillor Gordon Friars and Jedi, his four-legged sidekick in our walk about.
Later, made a quick trip to St. Andrews to see Broadway by the Sea, featuring the iconic Tony LePage of Fredericton.
What an amazing morning at the KV Oasis Donut Walk/Run!
This wasn’t just a race, it was a celebration of community.
KV Oasis is a critical, volunteer-led organization that does incredible work for young people in Quispamsis and Rothesay.
Thank you for your incredible commitment to our youth. We see you and we appreciate you!
I love and appreciate all my volunteers, but I love and appreciate this one just a smidgen more. Thanks to the residents of Melanie Drive for the warm welcome and great conversation this afternoon.
Thanks to the folks on Chelsea Drive for the warm welcome tonight. We heard some horrific stories about the healthcare system, including a ridiculously long wait time in the ER with a sick child.
Had a wonderful time marching with friends in the Saint John Pride Parade.
Bon quinzou!
Bruce Northrup is one of the newest members of Team Holt. He’ll carry our banner in Sussex-Three Rivers. Welcome, Bruce!
Great to spend the afternoon with Susan Holt and other members of our team from the Saint John region at Queen Square Market and International CultureFest.
Forty years ago today - Aug. 2, 1984 - the Kennebecasis Public Library opened its doors for the first time.
Over the past four decades, the library, now home to more than 60,000 items, has become one of the crown jewels in our community.
Congrats to Library Director Norah Emerson and her staff on your anniversary.
Here’s to the next 40!
Great night in the Fredericton region as Team Holt welcomed Cindy Miles, the next MLA for Hanwell-New Maryland, to our roster. The excitement and enthusiasm for change is growing in Quispamsis and elsewhere.
Thanks to Quispamsis Mayor Libby O’Hara for joining me on the campaign trail at Merritt Hill today. Great conversations at the doors, and a great view of the river, too.
At many doors, Quispamsis residents are telling me it’s time for property tax reform. Susan Holt and I wholeheartedly agree.
Great question from an engaged resident today: Why should my assessment increase dramatically because somebody was willing to overpay for my neighbour’s house?
Team Holt is committed to a complete review because people don't have clarity on how the system works and how their properties are assessed, and the inherent unfairness of the cost of assessment increasing due to rising assessments.
Also great to see former mayor Murray Driscoll today. Your support for me and Team Holt is appreciated.
Props to David Nickerson for braving the heat on the street.
I am proud to have been part of the Town of Quispamsis’s collective bargaining team during recent negotiations with our outside workers, CUPE Local 3226. Talks were cordial and respectful on both sides throughout the process. We successfully signed a new five-year contract with the mechanics, heavy equipment operators, labourers, utility, parks and facilities, arenas and pool staff and all the other members of CUPE Local 3226. Congratulations to all!
Great support in the riding next door! Let’s go!!!
Knocking doors in Hampton-Fundy-St. Martin with John Herron and the message is clear: Higgs and his team have got to go. You deserve a government that works with you, not against. John Herron and I are focused on you and will unite and respect everyone and work hard on the issues that are most important to you.
Let's go! 💪

Bold Change Starts Now!
I’m humbled to have earned your trust to lead the Liberal Party of New Brunswick. I’ve been loud and clear that I want to change the way we do politics. And I’m so grateful that you do too.
This campaign—and the last few months of travelling around the province—have affected me deeply. I love this province more than ever. I feel connected to our communities more than ever. I feel more proud of our people than ever before.
In New Brunswick, regardless of language, color, place of origin, we are friends and neighbours. We KNOW how to talk to each other. We know how to solve problems together. That is our superpower. Let’s use it.
Bold change means doing politics differently. It means engaging our friends and neighbours, being open and honest with them, and inviting them to be part of solving our challenges.
I’m proud that our campaign has brought people back into the Liberal fold. I’m proud that we’ve attracted new and enthusiastic members. The work doesn’t stop now, however. I will continue to reach out to people and meet them on their terms.
Are you in? Join the movement. The winds of change are blowing and it feels good.
