Nan, is 62, blind in one eye lover of life. Recently, she got the feeling to start drawing again.
Inspired by a late night glass or two of wine and her own dynamic jewelry making talent, she set off on a new adventure, designing jewelry. A week of creations at full throttle, she created a set of designs that she was so eager to share with the world that she contacted her daughter, Katie, for a little extra kick of confidence. Which in turn, consisted of a worse, middle, or best case scenario d
iscussion and a go for it Mom transfer of energy. She submitted her designs to a national and international jewelry company on a whim of hope or otherwise known as the Charlie in The Chocolate Factory feeling. That feeling yielded a wonderful opportunity. Out of 9 designs submitted the company selected 7 designs. All of which were created, featured, and sold via several TV shopping network shows in July, August, September, and more to come in October 2012. In between that time, and now, she continues to set her passions free and design meaningful, unique, and stylish jewelry that can be worn in casual and formal settings. When Nan isn’t designing, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and learning more things about jewelry. She also enjoys the occasional trip to TJ Maxx to get lost in the styles and enjoy a cup of Joe from Coney Island. She loves to laugh and make people feel good. What She Does:
