Looking to sing or play more musical theatre rep in your life? Well then, Sitzes are for you!

Becoming a member of the Sitz mailing list gives you access Sitz days, run by the London Musical Theatre Orchestra (LMTO), a charity and the world’s only professional orchestra dedicated solely to musical theatre.

A Sitz is a private rehearsal of an entire musical. Once a month, over the course of a single day, over 100 singers and instrumentalists come together to rehearse a whole score of a musical. They are entirely private events where participants can gain professional-level experience without the pressure of an audience.

At their heart, Sitzes are all about sharing in the joy of playing and singing your favourite musicals with like-minded individuals. Sitzes take place once a month at Bishopsgate Institute, where LMTO is Orchestra-in-Residence.

We're having a great time at Bishopsgate Institute for our final Sitz of the year - we've got a tree and everything! 🎄

We're so happy to have been able to restart these events this year, and bring people back together to make music as a ginormous ensemble. Here's to the next 12 months!
