Awesome news tonight. The Burlington City High School Marching Band was invited by the Office of Military & Veterans Affairs Selection committee to go to Honolulu, Hawaii to represent the state of New Jersey in a parade to honor Vietnam Veterans. We are extremely honored and humbled to be selected to honor our Vietnam Veterans. So March 2022 we will be going to Hawaii. If you know any soon to be BCHS students who would be interested in joining the music program, now is the time to sign up and be a part of this amazing chapter. Also alumni are welcome to join us on this trip. Details to follow

An invitation from Kelly May and family...everyone is invited to participate in a SURPRISE 60th Birthday Parade for Dave. Please meet in the Holiday Skating Rink Parking Lot on Wednesday, June 10th at 5:45. The caravan is leaving promptly at 6:00. Kelly is having Dave stand on the front walkway. She is putting a new trash can in the middle of the street near the front walk so people can drop cards if they want (No Gifts Please) and wave as they go by. Please feel free to spread the word to others who may want to take part in celebrating!

Hello Friends, we regret to inform you that our Production of Into The Woods slated to open tomorrow night has been POSTPONED due to the coronavirus. We will be doing the show at a later date and time to be determined. It is sad that this has happened but it is a safety concern. As the saying goes the show will go on and we hope when it finally does you will join us for this brilliant show. So stay tuned for updates

USBands NJ State Championships have been rescheduled for Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Wayne Valley High School in Wayne, NJ. The contest starts at 1:00 PM. We perform at 2:45 PM, and awards for our group are scheduled for 3:00 PM. Tickets are still available at $18 each directly from us (it’s a little cheaper to get them from us than purchasing them at the door). Hope to see you there!!

Tomorrow night’s football game against Florence has been chosen by CBS3 as their Friday Football Frenzy Game of the Week. Your Blue Devil Marching Band will be featured along with the football team and cheerleaders. Be sure to tune into CBS3 tomorrow at 6:45 AM, 4:45 PM, and 5:25 PM for live and recorded segments, as well as game highlights during the 11:00 PM broadcast!

We have an update about this weekend. As of now, USBands NJ State Championships are still scheduled for Sunday at Rowan University. Our performance time is 8:00 PM. However, USBands is keeping a close eye on the weather forecast for Sunday. If things change due to the weather, including any potential change in either the date and/or the venue, we will keep you posted. Also, tickets for NJ State Championships are available for purchase from us at $18 each. This is cheaper than purchasing them at the door, so please purchase them from us if you are planning to attend. Please message us directly. The tickets will be valid regardless of the date and location for NJ State Championships, if USBands decides to move the event due to the weather.

Your Blue Devil marching gave a great this past Saturday at North Brunswick HS and scored at 81.75! Great job! The band is off this coming weekend, but next weekend we are giving a halftime performance at the varsity football at home vs. Florence on Friday, Oct. 25th, followed by NJ State Championships at Rowan University in Glassboro on Sunday, Oct. 27th!
